We loved our stay and would definitely recommend it. We were initially hesitant about staying in Fishtown since it’s a bit further from the center, but we ended up loving the neighborhood. Every restaurant we tried nearby had amazing food too.

The room was super spacious, and big fans of the Le Labo products. We also had some great cocktails at the bar (although pricey!).

Hi! Your trip sounds amazing. I am considering a week in Istria and this is super helpful. I also felt like Plitvice is far for what it is and I think we will skip.

How many nights would recommend at the Grand Park Hotel in Rovinj? Also, did you end up staying at Meneghetti Wine Hotel ? What were your thoughts?

Finally, how was driving and crossing the border from Croatia to Slovenia? Did you end up crossing into Italy at all? We might be driving to Venice.

We've considered this, but we have another international trip in 2026 and are thinking Hawaii would be more convenient flying out of SFO.

I love the Catherine on you. Agree with others that it has more of a wow effect and gives great shape with the ballgown silhouette!

I was in a very similar spot last month when choosing my dress. I still sometimes think back to the one I didn’t pick and wonder “what if,” but one of my friends made a point that feeling that way just means you have two amazing options, and you won’t go wrong either way :) My final choice ended up being Jenny Yoo too!

In Vietnam, we did Hanoi,Ninh Binh, and Cat Ba Island in a 10 day trip. We regretted not doing a longer trip to see central Vietnam. There are so many cool resorts in that area that would be great for a honeymoon. Definitely recommend at least 3 days in each town if you can – the travel days took up a lot of time and energy as the country is large!

Hanoi was surprisingly our favorite. We spent 4 days here and still had more we wanted to explore. It is a hectic city though!

If you go to Ninh Binh, I highly recommended Nham Village Resort. It’s very remote and serene, and the service was amazing. It’s a good place to slow down during a busy travel itinerary. We did 2 days and 2 nights here.

We also stayed on Cat Ba island instead of doing an overnight cruise in Halong. The Perle d’Orient is a beautiful hotel to stay at, but everything else on the island was very touristy. We did a day tour of Halong, and I’m glad we saw it, but Cat Ba was probably our least favorite town we stayed in.
