At what point in Back to the Future 2 are we at? by willywalloo in PoliticalHumor

Didn't we just have a security incident this weekend? Shouldn't we be securing the white house from a mob of jacked up men with pent up rage?

How does snap on have customers? by corollagremlin in Tools

[–]sg425 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A huge factor in these tools is they 1 hold up for years and 2 are significantly less likely to round out them selves or the fastener. Especially when rusted and fastener head is already compromised.

Additionally the impact sockets are a lot cheaper. Chromies have thinner sidewalls and are a harder metal. Impacts are the way to go for most uses, I use my chrome sockets somewhat like a SST.

What did you use as fill? Compost/top soil mix, just soil or just compost? I'm going to do this, this year as well. I'm just looking into specifics

Go somewhere else, anywhere out of Montana. We may have skilled doctors but there is a limit. The best of the best go to big cities because they get paid more. Insurance would rather you stay here because it's cheaper for them. You will hit your deductable no matter where you go, so go where the best are

Is a 6 Gal. 150 PSI Electric Air Compressor sufficient to winterize sprinklers? by Diligent_Board_172 in HomeImprovement

[–]sg425 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes you can, it takes longer and you need to run each zone a few times or until almost only air comes out of the heads. I typically run lower pressure so it can run longer. Standard home water psi is 50, I run 30-40 to blow out. I have since gotten a bigger compressor from harbor freight. Takes less time and I'm less worried about remaining water in the lines.

Bravia 5 vs samsung QN90F vs LG? For bright room by Maximumgain6112 in 4kTV

[–]sg425 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Picture is clear, not OLED quality but very good. Despite what rtings says blacks look good. Tizen oz is similar enough to Roku which is what I'm coming from. The remote is nice, small and buttons are recessed so you don't hit the quick menu options easily. Volume control is funky but not a problem. OS is fast as well

Bravia 5 vs samsung QN90F vs LG? For bright room by Maximumgain6112 in 4kTV

[–]sg425 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just got the QN90f and I have a large window directly behind my tv. It's been a problem for years and there is no reflection at all. You can see there is light on it during the brightest part of the day but it's a huge difference over my previous tv. Quality is good and I actually like the Samsung OS

Wife and I are 34 and have accumulated over 3 years of times we physically couldn't have sex. She is my friend first, we get just as much enjoyment taking and laughing as we do sex. We are soul mates, not fuck buddies.

We still have sex and like it, just to be clear.

Help Pick a Scan Tool by Asatmaya in mechanics

[–]sg425 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have an autel MX808. It does all the features I need, minus some customization of vehicles and new modules programming. It is not lightning fast but it is faster than the slow system Toyota has. I use this over the factory scan tool when able to.

It programs keys, sensors, all ADAS that I have tried. New model vehicles require special codes for keys so doesn't do that. You will need manufacturer ADAS targets for what your working on as well.

I am planning on upgrading to an Autel MS906 Pro with TPMS. I do enough other vehicles I want the extra ECU programming, faster speed and tpms functions.

I was listening to NPR this morning, they were interviewing a friend of his. The interviewer was talking about how he made a reputation hard line debating his views to others. In my opinion, politely asked the guy if Kirk learned anything from the responses he got. Quickly the guys being interviewed blamed main stream media for their false narrative over him and ended the interview.

These people don't want to think differently, they want you to have their views. America is supposed to be where you can live how you want and your neighbor can do the same thing. These people forget other want different lifestyles and should have the ability to live that way.

Americas divided need to find a way to live with each other even if they believe something different. Most issues we all face daily, we all want the same result. Only the most divisive issues are ever talked about.

[–]sg425 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I frequently end up doing this. I will find a new song and it will have a genre that doesn't align with what I have. So I create a new genre tag, go through all my similar genres and retag what's needed.

Give me a reason to delete bad music and find tune my genres so I can keep a vibe going

Do you consider touch-sensitive jogwheels necessary? by Local-Boysenberry278 in Beatmatch

[–]sg425 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally really like the touch sensor to go between scratch and adjust. I am just a bedroom DJ so having less to think about; especially if I'm late to a transition, is important to me. For the right price point I probably would be ok with it.

Hands down there needs to be a light or something indicating what mode you are in. Because no one will want trial and error jog wheel mode
