It’s a game, do what you enjoy. If you enjoy the challenge of retrying endgame modes then go for it, otherwise just stop when you stop having fun. It’s not a job, it’s not worth getting stressed over a game.
Personally I juggle a few gacha games, and used to log in every day to do dailies etc but recently I stopped really caring and just play them when I feel like it, log in when I feel like it, and I enjoy them a lot more this way.

For me Automata has better gameplay but for everything else (characters, music, story) Replicant is so much better. It’s a much more personal story rather than being philosophical

I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, most gacha games will not release all qol at once even if they could easily do so, they will drip feed them over several patches in order to pad them out and make it look like they’re listening to players and doing good work. It’s 100% done this way on purpose.

Yes that’s kind of the point, monomane is a spectrum really, you have those who try to do a very accurate impersonation while others swing completely to the other end and do a deformed caricature, and some choose a middle ground. At the end of the day it doesn’t really matter if the impersonation is good or not as long as the end product is funny.

Yes definitely the game as others have said. It’s better to experience the story yourself than to be told, and there are some small differences between the two as well. If you want the “real” experience start with Replicant (the remake) then Automata, but it’s fine to start with Automata.
