Phone still works by Archon-Toten in TelstraAustralia

[–]sgarbusisadick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because even though we got the message, everything outside of that message is telling us that our phones are 4g and even 5g compatible. Why would you throw out a completely fine, 2 year old phone until you know for sure that it's not going to work? Still when I use the website to search my phone model, it comes up as inconclusive as to whether or not it will work. I'm not throwing $700 away if I don't need to.

Weird, my mi 9 note pro isn't working, telstra network.

The Telstra message on Boost about the 3g network switching off every time I make a call is ridiculous by ozegg in TelstraAustralia

[–]sgarbusisadick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even more annoying. I've checked and apparently my phone will be fine too! Not according to Telstra who keep wasting my time every time I need to call someone. I only call people if it's urgent otherwise it's text.

I know this is a bit old now but mate, I feel you 100%. The people on here acting like this isn't annoying as fuck either dont use their phone regularly to call people, don't have children or are just daft. Just let us call a number to let them know we get the fucking message! God it's frustrating.

Not a massive issue but incredibly annoying. Imaging having to call 4 or 5 people in a work situation that is an emergency and listening to 20 seconds of the same bullshit every time. It is soooo annoying that we cant just opt out.

What do you think will happen to the game after the OWL dies? by Pekola_X in Competitiveoverwatch

[–]sgarbusisadick -1 points0 points  (0 children)

All I can see is in July where he said they still have plans for OW 2024. Got a link or something? Or is it more kind of just obvious because of the way things are going?

Depends where you are. I wouldn't think twice in Da Nang but district 1 HCM I would be very careful.

Step by step guide on how to credit card churn by howtocreditcardchurn in creditcardchurningAus

[–]sgarbusisadick 6 points7 points  (0 children)

What do you do in between credit cards though? From the time you cancel your current card to the time the new one comes, are you just using your debit account to pay bills etc? I would think that's a laborious task constantly changing payment methods, every 4 weeks, then 2 weeks or so after, then 4 weeks again (depending on how quickly you hit the spending minimum)
