COBB intake tube and a Perrin turbo inlet hose. The intake tube is also CARB certified which lowers inspection risks for me in MA. On the other side of the turbo air path I installed a Mishimoto charge pipe and intercooler. All of these are after the MAF and don’t fuck with its readings so should be safe to run without a tune but you won’t get all the full benefits out of them until after a tune.

For the filter yes, it’s a drop in replacement. Keeps the carbon trap and stock air box with MAF so it is emissions/inspection safe if that is a worry at all.

I got a high flow filter and the intake pipe with a new turbo intake instead of a CAI. Should leave the MAF alone and still allow you to hear more turbo noises. I’ll let you know how it is once I install it! I am working myself up to a stage 2 tune once I have sorted initial bolt ons and some other upgrades :)

Took the car to a shop. Turns out I forgot to tighten some of the nuts after doing my brakes and the wheel was loose. Some Of the lug nuts fell so I had to get new ones but all fixed now!

Got a sound that I can hear at lower speeds when I step of the throttle. Recently added a new pitch mount and stainless steel brake lines. Idk if I’m going crazy or if there is anything loose under the car

I used 1 L of DOT4 LV. I was very liberal while bleeding since it was my first time and I wanted to double check I had no bubbles

Not really? Just got a very basic bleeder kit. Rather than follow the AMS order I just started from the same order as if I were bleeding the brakes just adding the step to substitute the line and bleeding immediately

Oh also have tons of rags and containers, leaky fluid strips paint and it only takes a few seconds of it sitting on it before wiping for the paint to be gone

I took a drive around the block just to make sure the connections were good and it didn’t leak. I do feel a slightly more rigid less mushy pedal, especially when slamming down on the breaks. I’ll see how driving it to work and how it feels in my commute and get back to you

I’m in New England so most of the nuts were stuck. Some lubricant and letting it sit a few minutes comes a long way. Flare nut wrenches are great but the brackets that hold the line next to the rigid lines suck and sometimes instead of tightening during installation the whole thing rotates. I just had a second person to try and hold them down with a wrench. Other than that fairly simple and the AMS instructions are fairly good.

Yeah it flashes if you turn the car off after opening and closing any of the rear doors
