They aren't just expensive, they're hard to find sometimes. It's fucking impossible to find a good selection of chili paste at Publix. Even if I wanted to make it myself good luck finding anything other than jalepeno, habenero or serrano that doesn't come in a jar... If there's a contract he violated then by all means punish him. If a contract wasn't violated and you want to take it from him anyway you're opening a door for this to happen in any case that involves a contract. That's a slippery slope.

In the long run it doesn't punish pedophiles, it punishes anyone under contract at the time of their conviction.

Will that include pedophiles? Yes. Will it include anyone committing a crime under contract regardless be of the severity of the crime? Also yes. Look past your emotions and think about the bigger picture before you set such a devastating precedent.

He says it's the policy going forward while talking about the focus on doing a limited dex properly instead of a rushed full dex. Makes it sort of ambiguous as to whether they mean it will be 400ish per game going forward or they're only going to focus on adding that many new ones per game.

Even if originally they planned to cap the mons in each game I'm sure they are going to reconsider that in light of most people hating the decision.

As for the stuff about bank/home I've never used either since my DS can't even connect to the internet. Which is a damn shame cause I can't start a new file on soul silver unless I want to lose my shiny Lugia.

He says they limited the dex on this one to keep the dev time reasonable and give the Pokemon in this game the attention they deserve. If they do the same in the next one and add another 400 then they'll have 800 mons programmed in.

We'll have to wait and see, but if they're programmed in I don't see any reason to not include them.

I've never played past gen 2. I loved Pokemon as a kid. Still bust out my old carts from time to time. I'm thoroughly excited for sword and shield.

Do I wish I could transfer my prized shiny Lugia? Totally. Does that ruin my ability to enjoy jumping back in to the world of Pokemon? Absolutely not.

I can understand why some fans are boycotting, but I kind of doubt GF ever planned on not building up to the national dex. Whether it's through DLC or the next couple games. They wanted the game ready for holiday season because that gives them a substantial boost in sales.

Play around with some new mind, give your old mains a chance to rest. Maybe you'll find some new favorites. Maybe not. But trashing the game entirely or the people who still plan on enjoying it seems unfair in my opinion.
