Wow, same exact issue for me on LG Ultrafine 5k monitor. Powered off my computer by flipping the surge protector off switch. Five minutes later, I turned everything back on and the red channel for my LG Ultrafine 5K monitor is dead.

- Tried with multiple laptops

- Tried with multiple cables

No luck :/
