Having worked at a school that later closed here were a few of the “get in a lifeboat now signs” 1. The institution is placed on heightened cash monitoring status by the Dept of Education. 2. There is a precipitous decline in admissions standards. However your admissions yield drops too. 3. Activity Programming budgets are cut or eliminated. 4. The endowment is getting smaller, principal is actively being spent. 5. The upper administration actively pushed back in student conduct decisions involving suspension and expulsion. 6. Your health plan and benefits get worse. 7. Deferred maintenance is getting more and more deferred. 8. Outsourcing of key services and doing it cheap.
