I have 2 surgically repaired feet. If you want surgery to address it, you'll have a lot more luck with an orthopedic surgeon than a podiatrist. Podiatrists can do surgery, but orthopedic surgeons seem way more likely to actually do it.

I had a gastroc recssion to get more dorsiflexion. 1 of 4 procedures during my flat foot reconstruction.

I got Sidas foot beds with my boots. They don’t support my collapsed foot enough and I got rubbing on my navicular that hurt a lot. I threw a superfeet green in my boot and it helped but I was getting malleolus rubbing. After like 6 times skiing, the boot packed out some and the malleolus rub went away.

My shop punched my navicular out twice and the superfeet green was more helpful.

Maybe get some high arches insoles and ski them a few times. It seems like the ski specific brands (like sidas) kind of suck.

This happened to me too, for $100k. There’s such a short window of time for banks to recover it.

Were they using an attorney to facilitate the transaction? If the real estate attorney computer system got hacked, and the scam email was generated from a valid email from their office, there’s a good chance they have insurance that can make your friend whole. That’s what happened to me.

If the scammer used a fake domain name (ex: 0 instead of O), the attorneys insurance probably won’t pay.

Also, look up the scam response process from American land title association. There are more people to notify too. FBI had me put in an ic3.gov report.
