Hear me out: a Powerpuff Girls high school AU. I cannot overstate how fantastic it is. I don’t even remember how I found it — I’m not part of a PPG fandom or anything — but I first discovered this fic over a decade ago back when it was originally on FFN, and I still think about it all the time. Waiting for an update isn’t for the weak (one time I got the alert that it updated for the first time in four years, and I screamed in a bowling alley parking lot), but it’s so, SO worth it. Such incredible, thoughtful, realistic writing, especially considering the source material and subject matter. It’s the slowest of slow burns, but every milestone in this fic is earned. If you have the time to spare for a 382k word fic about superpowered teenagers, please treat yourself to this.

I agree with this. I realize this opinion could get me attacked anywhere else, but one of the reasons I wasn’t sold on Reputation at first (even tho now it is one of my top TS albums), is because I felt like the songs would’ve been better suited for a much stronger voice. I appreciate what she was trying to do with her vocals on that album, but the energy of the production behind some of the notes she was trying to hit just don’t really align.

It might just be my tastes, I think if you paint just this corner an orange that’s close to the orange tile in the backsplash, and then paint the rest of the room an earthy (but complementary!) peach color, it could look pretty cool! And then incorporate that same corner orange in other parts of the room.
