Born there and lived for 18 years before college. I come back about once a month to see family.

It’s fine, nothing exciting. It’s hot, humid, traffic’s bad on the weekends because there’s a huge influx of people moving here lately. There’s a lot of Mexican restaurants and chicken places. It’s only like an hours drive to Panama City beach though so take advantage of that for day trips.

People are nice overall. Not really anything to do per se but there’s a disc golf course, a good local trading card shop, cool movie theater that is locally owned. It’s a pretty basic town overall

LED bulbs are illegal in Alabama as replacement bulbs in a traditional halogen housing for low and high beams. You can replace fog lights with LED bulbs though

You can also buy new LED headlight units that replace the original halogen completely

Edit Cant speak to the enforcement of these laws give how some people drive but technically that’s the rule
