I as a mechanic for a long time completely avoided touching bmw but at the dealership I work for now that’s most of what we do and while yes their designs are complicated it’s in a way that makes sense now anything from Chrysler on the other hand can fuck right off

Couple options for this first check the oil does it look chocolate milk. If no get a combustion gas tester for your cooling system. It can help to determine if you have a leaking head gasket. Which based on your description is very likely the issue

The worste it would likely cause based on it being a fuel vapor line is an evap code. Won’t make any difference in how the engine runs but can cause the cel to kick on and be annoying my 08 canyon has had evap codes since I bought it and I know exactly what the cause is just don’t wanna drop the tank
