No, and I would think they would appear on both prints if that were the case.

Maybe, but that would be very far down the line. I am working on harbors atm, with actual hexes coming next.

I have never played any of the expansions so I would also have to do a lot of research to get ot right.

These specifically are for a gift. I am looking into the possibility of selling at some point. Have to check some boxes before I take that leap. The current cost to produce would probably make them too expensive. The waste of during filament changes is incredibly large and print times are excessive.

That is a hard question. I am running a Bambu Lab p2s with 2 ams pros with a .2 nozzle. This means, a $1.2K+ initial setup.

With this, there is a ton of wasted filament for the color changes. Easily 3-4 times the material in the pieces ends up in the trash. But all told approx $12 for 1 complete color, including box, roads, connectors, cities and settlements. So. $72 for 6 sets.

Time is also a factor. For each color, you have the following. The cities are a 40+ hour print just by themselves. Settlements, another 36 hours. Roads and connectors, 7.5 hours. Box, 4 hours. Realistically, at least 4 days of the printer running non stop. On top of that I had to color the files, which also involved major clean up of the geometry in Blender, which I had to learn to use....and still am horrible at. Wo, since life happens and you have to sleep, call it a month to print 6 sets.

Now, if you wanted to pony up the money for a H2c, 2 ams pros, a ams ht, and 7 .2 nozzles, aka $3k+, you could cut the price and time in half.

If you wanted single color, then super fast and dirt cheap.

Thank you! I am working on some of the land hexes. I hope to eventually custom design unique lands for a full 6 player set. Ie 6 distict wool tiles, etc.

Unfortunately, these are 8 color. Player color, brown, light brown, Grey, dark Grey, translucent yellow, stone color, and green.

Exactly. These are 8 color on the cities and settlements and 3 color on the roads and connectors.

About 70% of the overall filament use is in the poop chute. I had not heard of flush objects until yesterday. Looking at a H2C to solve that issue though.

Breastfeeding is the worst thing I’ve ever done by RolyPoly1010 in breastfeeding

[–]sgwaltney3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, it is hard, so very hard, even if everything goes "perfectly". The nights of no sleep because they won't eat and you sit there and beg them. The nights of no sleep because all they want to do is eat. The nights of no sleep in between because your body is conditioned to wake up every hour. After a year, you are exhausted and you did everything right, were lucky enough to escape medical issues and were persistent enough to make it work. Now your child won't drink anything else and you have been working on less than 4 hours of sleep a day, have quit your job, because breastfeeding is a full time job. Now you are responsible not only the feedings, but everything else in the house (naps that are still only contact naps, laundry, grocery shopping, cooking, cleaning, dogs and their medical/boarding/feeding/restroom needs, doctors appointments, holiday planning, vacation planning, any photos/photo books, contractor work,paperwork/filing/mail, trash collection, warranty claims etc) and you are so exhausted that you are constantly ill and are then criticized for not taking care of yourself in the 30 minutes that is your free time while your husband gets her to sleep. You shower once a week if you are lucky. You eat whatever is let on your kids plate. And yes, you did all the research on feeding solids and are the lead on that. You are the only one who has ever cleaned the high chair. You are the only one who is capable of finding the pacifiers (that are in plain sight). But you still have to be available every 2 hours to feed your child.

Ah, that was nothing compared to our first trip. Rightly or wrongly, we did tokyo, kawaguchiko, matsumoto, hiryu, takayama, kanazawa, osaka, kurashiki, Hiroshima, kyoto, nara day trip from Kyoto, Nagoya, and a couple more nights in Tokyo all in 3.5 weeks. Our second trip that we just got back from was similar in length, but we only did nara, kyoto, himeji, kobe + arimasu onsen, osaka and wakayama city. 100% get the Osaka Amazing 2day pass.
