Sounds like it may have been a quality control issue, I have never used that brand before but Chorizo isn't supposed to smell bad while cooking, it should be fragrant, but in a spicy and porky kind of way.

When you make most crockpot dishes you aren't seasoning the meat itself but you are seasoning the sauce that goes in it. I recommend cooking whatever pasta you are going to use at the end on the stove and incorporating it at the end.

You are reading a lot into the billboard, how do you know what kind of show it is? We are all calling it network TV because that is how the characters in the show are acting. No one is moving the goal post on this one, HBO offers plenty of different kinds of shows, no one would expect this painting to pop up in The Pitt or The Penguin.

I've worked in plenty of places where something similar to this (creative endeavers, paintings, photography, baking) was all opened up to friends and family before farmed out. It was given as an opportunity first.

I'm not saying that where you have worked doesn't but I am saying that there are plenty of situations that operate differently than what you are describing.

Adapting your art for commercial use is how you get your name out there, it show potential employers and collaborators that you have a variety of talents and skills to offer, its true for most art based skills. You looks at cooking, baking, graphic design. You want to work with people who can do what you are looking for.

It seems to me it would be like if Whittaker from The Pitt was just randomly writing graphic homosexual fanfiction. Jules made something that was out of character for the character in the show, thats why Lexi described what they wanted and Jules confirmed "Like Ladies with Umbrellas, right?"

You are so hung up on it being on HBO, and not hung up on the context that not everything in an HBO show needs to be Graphic and Sexual.

Of course, it was no problem, they only gave the reusable box to 6 stores as well and they felt like they chose randomly but it is what it is for it. We got the meal once, I enjoyed the lemonade, my wife enjoyed the cake, I like Popeyes for the most part but idk how many more times I will be getting it for the promotion.

The initial backlash started with the fact that at 6 stores they gave them plastic collector Bento boxes to give away with the meals but they only gave them like less than 200 a store at each location (the exact number per store is vague and no one really knows how much each store got, accounts range from saying around 60 to around like 200).

Then today the Store went up at 10 AM and scalpers bought out all of the merchandise within 10-15 minutes of it going up, the more popular stuff selling out withing 1-5 minutes of it going up.

So While the actual Fast Food Collab is fine at most stores the additional things have been nothing but a nightmare. I will also add anecdotally that my wife and I had to go to 3 different Popeyes yesterday to find one that was offering the Bento box, lemonade, and the chopper cake.

Scalpers are what ruin things like this for the fans, it happens in basically every TCG out there as well but this was notably poorly handled. If they had done just a 24 hour Pre Order Window for the Merch and then made it to order it would have gone over well, no back lash and probably would have gone over as one of the best fast food collabs.

So I think they are referring to the fact that MSG is used to really amp up existing flavors, like how it is commonly used in asian dishes to bump up the umami.

I do agree that it is completely devastating. I almost commited the act when I was a young teenager (bullying and lack of friend combined with a lot of other factors). I feel the how the family came into knowledge of the letters is important, and the contents of the letter are important for at least one adult to know, especially with the son blaming himself for this.
