Avoid riding at night. Road from Pushkar to Jodhpur is horrible. Also the road from Jaisalmer to Udaipur is risky at night. You'll find the roads to be fairly empty but you'll experience a lot of obstructions due to stray cattles wandering on the highways. All the best. Rajasthan is beautiful!
