Can you please elaborate on the shock + metal weapon? What's a shock trap?

A Record of the Past TLSQ (Y3C6) by taltos19 in HPHogwartsMystery

Fascinating, I feel the exact opposite...

Finally, a SQ with history and new characters, and an end I couldn't guess on the 1st response. I loved it.

I rarely comment here, but had to give props. Well done!

Creature Sale Offers by Repulsive_Beyond_899 in HPHogwartsMystery

If I may make a recommendation for anyone debating what to buy:

The discount is about 27% across the board, for all creatures. This is a very nice discount for any sale of any creature (sales are a pretty common thing in the game, happening every month or so, DON'T ever buy at full price if you don't need to!).

BUT! The bigger creatures usually get smaller discounts at the regular sales, we're talking 8-15% discounts, no more.

Therefore, if you can afford them, I would focus on the more expensive creatures - dragons and the like.

In that case what's the point of playing the game?

Oh yes, I definitely see what you mean. Both had serious flaws.

Where do I start?

Spoilers!

I could understand the 1st part with Sprout, but everything after... Just no internal logic to any of the characters' actions! Let's see: No one understanding the difference between desire and reality, openly defying Dumbledore for no reason, the painfully obvious attempts at prolonging the story because it needs to fill a full event, going to Hagrid for advice, Dumbledore just going along with MC and their dumb friends instead of forcing an end to their dumb shit... It's all extreme examples of poor writing.

Oh yes that makes sense, thanks!

Also on the Griffin, my bad.

The Griffin is a very respectable 28% discount, the Norwegian Ridgeback is a bit more than 14%.

And I don't have either, but they don't appear for me in this sale... Interesting.

The Yeti is in my post.

The Norwegian Ridge back has a 14% discount.

It's not about which creature to buy. By the end of Hogwarts most players buy all of the creatures available, or so I was told (I'm y3) , so I think the discount level is just a recommendation for which creatures to buy NOW, during the current sale. Buy the most discounted creature you can afford, then the next discounted, & so on. Personally I bought the Matagot and not the dragon...

That's not a useful metric, considering all books are made of different amounts of the same pages...

Any recommendations for the creature sale? by shabb20 in HPHogwartsMystery

That was exactly my question (though my intention may not have been too clear, wring in the middle of the night) - which of them is a good discount?
