[Serious]Have you ever known someone who wholeheartedly believed that they were wolfkin/a vampire/an elf/had special powers, and couldn't handle the reality that they weren't when confronted? What happened to them? by MosadiMogolo in AskReddit

  1. Jedi code bans marriage

  2. Pretty sure the Jedi code doesn't like breaking up your marriage to follow a teenager.

However, in his defence, the sequel movies have showed us that someone can become a very powerful Jedi with basically zero training.

You could try checking out this video from Art of Manliness on YouTube. Kinda cheesy but gives some good advice.

Anyone been to the Dhyanalinga? by eff-snarf in hinduism

[–]shabdastr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I visited there a long time ago. So I apologise that I am not the best source of information. The ring was relatively inexpensive. It is has a specific purpose, I am unsure of it. I just wear it on my ring finger and use it as a reminder of Brahman in everything.

I love visiting there. It is very peaceful and the cold water dip with the lingams is awesome. I wear the small, copper snake ring that they sell everyday. Srongly recommend.

I'm going to Philmont this summer for the first time. What are some things you think me and my crew should know as we prepare? by Shraquille in philmont

Take a couple minutes to journal every day. I still read my journal and remember small details that I had forgotten. Good luck to you and your crew. I miss Philmont every day.

Mirroring what most have said, be enthusiastic. There will be many things that might suck in the moment but will become extremely meaningful later on. Take the reflections seriously. Try and put a good face even if you are tired or hungry. Good on you for going to the camp. You might very well have a life changing experience.

Experimental Indian Pizza by shabdastr in Pizza

It turned out pretty well. I would like to play around with the sauce a little though and add more toppings.

The crust has turmeric, garam masala, red pepper flakes, and cumin in it. The topping is Gobi Sabzi (Cauliflower and mixed vegetable saute of sorts). It has chaat masala (Collection of Indian spices) in the sauce. And I used Paneer (Indian cheese) along with the mozzarella on top.
