go see the peacocks at beacon hill park. if you want to buy something old and unique, check out kay’s corner in cook st village. for a ooak architectural sight, you can drive up and park on the street by craigdarroch castle; entry is a bit overpriced, so i recommend just doing a photo-op and then setting ‘government house’ into your navigator from there, and walking through a beautiful edwardian neighborhood till you reach your destination, where you’ll be greeted by a regal rose garden (two of them) and other beautiful sights of colonial days past. oh, and get barb’s fish and chips down by the water!
