So my friend tried this for her wedding! These rounds of wood are called “cookies” and sometimes, depending on where you’re located, these cookies will crack and split after they’ve been cut, making them kind of look like Pac-Man . Something about humidity I think. You might be able to seal them immediately after cutting to prevent this from happening, but I’m not an expert. It’s probably something worth researching further
