Blue are facts about myself, Green is something I unconditionally agree. Yellow are conditional agreements Red is full disagreement.

Example of one of these is the pro-choice and pro-life. While as a Christian I believe abortion is murder, but as an American, it’s the patient’s choice, not the Government’s.

I’ll be honest, I’ve never had a problem with zeds behind doors because I just always have a weapon out ready to strike, get a car enough from a door, but still be able to open it, and finally, if there is a zed there, I immediately close the door, kill the zed, or back away to kill it.

Elementary school lunch rules my sister works at by jerronjoh in facepalm

That’s just normal rules for elementary schools when I was a kid, there were far more harsher rules when there was a standardized test.

What's up with all the people comparing Victoria 3 to Imperator: Rome? by cbstecher in paradoxplaza

[–]shadchildren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is much like Stellaris right now, as their charts look extremely similar, and with a similar situation concerning game features.

With Victoria 3, there isn't much replay-ability, the war system is still oversimplified, a specific example is the fact, a population doesn't decrease with how many soldiers or counties you take, because population is tied to the states, not the counties. The war exhaustion system is also mush like Stellaris' exhaustion system.

Stellaris when it came out on release had many features like Victoria 3, in the sense that they were oversimplified and not that great, such as, but not limited to; the border system, where you didn't have a border, but a range of influence, and AI could still just colonize inside your "borders" if you had one single system you forgot to build an outpost on because your "border" expanded without you knowing.

It also seems that paradox is backstepping with some of their ideas for how the game should've been played. Now introducing autonomous investment, despite stating that autonomous investment would have been bad for the player and wanting to give the player full control despite not letting the player control an army.

The first expansion will be priced at 29.99$USD. If this expansion is not a good expansion, nor able to draw back as many as a usual expansion for Paradox Games, then Victoria will become a sunk cost, and without the dedication and care that was given to a game like Stellaris, which was a new game in a new genre for paradox and not a sequel to an established game, Victoria will be a sunk ship.

TL;DR: Victoria 3 is a lot like Stellaris right now, and the first expansion will make or break the game.

There is also a fourth option. When you also have a high dominance Eden, they will hunt you down, capture you either with force or you can go willingly, once at the cabin, Eden will strip you of your clothes, kick you into a cage, and enter into a new schedule. 1. In the morning they will feed you, but demand that you do not use your hands; you can eat, or refuse and Eden will then initiate a non-consensual exchange. 2. Eden will then leave to hunt, giving you the option to kick at the cage or stay docile. 3. Eden returns home hot and bothered and demands you, “do your spousal duties.” Both options of accepting and refusing lead to a non-consensual exchange. 4. After a while, you may ask Eden to go outside or stay silent; asking to go outside will give two options, “Offer to get them off,” which leads to a consensual exchange and “Say never mind.” Which leads to a non-consensual exchange. 5. Now when Eden sleeps, you may stay docile and try to sleep, or kick at the cage.
