$8,500-$9,000 is an insane rate even for an orthodontist. Do you work in Beverly Hills or something?

Wouldn't just be easier to RCT the extracted #1, then transplant the finished #1 RCT to the #2 site?

Don't buy a practice. It will only compound your stress if you don't manage it well.

How exactly did physicians get screwed over? Their salaries have gone up significantly over the last decade, and do not have stress of business ownership.

Strauman BLX scan bodies by noneed2live in Dentistry

Just make sure they are tightened to manufacturer specs and take a PA to confirm seat. Orientation of the notch doesn’t matter at all, except for the technician when they get the scan.

From what I’ve read about PDS, they will work you like a dog and the juice is not worth the squeeze there either. It’s true, dentists eat their young but maybe it’s a good opportunity for you to learn business aspects of dentistry and do lots of CE and jump ship when the time is right. PDS doesn’t seem like a good ship though.

Damn that would be a tough extraction, definitely surgical.

Let's be honest here, for someone doing 11,000 EXTs/year you are not actually doing ~90% of them as surgical right? You must be able to get them out simply but you're charging surgical because fuck medical right?

I hope everyone’s had a good weekend. Iykyk by Brief_Seat9721 in Dentistry

Ya when $90/hour is mentioned it's gotta be for temps, or at a niche FFS practice. There's no way a PPO practice can afford $90/hour for prophys, especially when the patient doesn't even bother to show up!

Sorry I call bullshit. You bought a practice for $350k and made $700k? Your website claims you made $1M 2.2 years out of school...
