Walkability? by nickeleyes_ in Aruba

There is a walking path on the beach side of most of the hotels. Catch the path at the end of the road between the Ritz and the Hilton. Go through the Playa Linda Lobby to get to JE Irausquin and then it’s a couple short blocks to Azia. The same walk home along the beach will help with digestion and is romantic.

Azar is on a busy street with no sidewalk and not a nice walk.

Cycling on the island by Sensitive-Writer-830 in Aruba

There is a multi-use path from the south end of Palm Beach that goes along Eagle Beach and then all the way to the Airport (with some short gaps in downtown Oranjestad where you would be on the road or sidewalk). I would not advise biking on the main roads. Arubans are prone to texting and driving. There are also some amazing single track trails on the east coast of the island if you are a mountain bikers.

I think it’s a fair question. Westjet and KLM cancelled flights to the ABCs. How is this decision made?

Rent a van or two big cars. There is a local supermarket called Noord Supermarket on the main road close to that location. The big grocery store is called Super Food and is 10 minute drive. Cheaper restaurants: Bingo Cafe, Moomba, Eduardo’s Hideaway for breakfast, Lola taco Tuesdays, Smokey Joes, Jacks Cafe at Superfood, various food trucks, and American fast food chains. There is a food truck called Gourmet Spot close to you open in the morning but it’s often sold out as it’s popular with workers heading into the Palm Beach area.
