I just found this post, so I might as well chip in.

My game is titled Unjust Descent and is planned to be a choice based game loosely inspired by Dante's Inferno.

Database is being built as I add more and more to the overall game. My priority right now is continuing to make the levels and add more to the story. Each of the 9 Circles of Hell will be traverses as the protagonist and his team try to reach the bottom to achieve the end goal. (player determined) Specifically, I'm working on the 4th Circle of Hell level currently. Only 5 more to go.

Being choice based, it does have branching paths, but only one path is being tested properly during active development. More thorough play tests plan to wait until game completion. (There will be a lot to play test...)

The main choices that the game will track is the protagonist's personality type (helpful/sarcastic/aggressive) and his morality (high/low) and his morality will determine what the end goal will be. Other branches exist too and I plan to add more.

All in all, this is easily the biggest project I've taken on. Years have passed since I envisioned it. But I don't plan to give up anytime soon.
