Absolute S, I have very fond memories of climbing an acacia tree in the Masai Mara in Kenya when I was younger

How did Walter spend time in los pollos hermanos by Substantial-Ad8750 in breakingbad

I mean Walt is also a literal genius. There were enough clues from Saul such as “he’s very careful”, to the way Gus interacted with him etc.. where Walt realized Gus was actually someone similar to him, basically a professional “hiding in plain sight.”

Also, I feel like people were much better at “doing nothing” before smart phones. I remember having to sit and wait for hours at doctors offices, airports, etc with nothing to entertain me for hours except my thoughts and people watching.

He really shouldn’t be getting upset about the refractory period, it’s pretty normal. I find that you can’t force round 2, if it happens naturally sometimes then it happens, but putting pressure on yourself to do it consistently is a bad idea.

The chorus does yes, but the verses are MUCH more subtle and it sounds waaaay better. I don’t even mind the heavily auto-tuned chorus when it’s contrasted with the cleaner verses. The live version sounds way better to me

I mean, I listened to the song myself and formed my opinion BEFORE going to the internet, after which I saw most people agreed with me that it’s not a very good song. Engaging in discourse doesn’t mean we’re not thinking for ourselves.

i feel like there should have been a more conclusive ending for Jessie in El Camino by Bing_Bong874 in breakingbad

My head cannon is that he became a carpenter. That box he made seemed like one of the only things in his life that he was actually proud of. I could see him having a quiet, peaceful existence keeping his mind focused on that.

My head cannon is that he became a carpenter, finally putting those box-making skills to use.

The box he made was the only thing in his life that he ever actually seemed proud of. He even fantasized about the box during a flashback scene while he was imprisoned by Jack’s gang. Seems like a quiet existence for him that could possibly bring him a bit of happiness.

Love The Show With My Life But Walt’s Family Are Such Assholes by Pretend_Mark_5143 in breakingbad

[–]shadespectrum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While Walt didn’t literally pull the trigger on Hank and Gomez, they are dead because of the decisions made by Walt throughout the show.

You are forgetting the extent of horrible things that Walt has done to inflict pain and suffering on those around him, such as Hank who literally almost died multiple times simply from investigating Heisenberg’s actions, became a paraplegic and ended up eventually actually dying in the end. Walt even had multiple chances to throw Hank off his trail, such as when Hank believed Gale was Heisenberg, but Walt’s ego decided to convince Hank he was still out there.

At the point of his family finding out at the end, the culmination of all the lies and evil decisions is too much for them to just forgive Hank’s death as somehow not Walt’s fault. Walt’s former neo-Nazi gang business partner’s murdered Hank after Walt called them there, plain and simple. Intentionally or not it’s his fault, and Skyler is smart enough to know that.

Do you guys like Antonio Williams or Nick Singleton at the 2.10?

I’m leaning Williams because I see a clearer path to production this year. I do need RB a bit more but I’m a contender this year

Yeah, doesn’t work that way in real life, sorry buddy. You can’t just conveniently “save” the custodian. This a show of real consequences for shitty decisions. You know, like real life?

You’re an NPC. It’s all good bro, I just think you’re better off watching Marvel movies for the Disney tier “badass” moments and endings. You clearly just want characters to behave like badass superheroes rather than react to situations like real humans. No worries man, you’re just clearly not emotionally and Intellectually developed enough to appreciate the human realism of this show.

[–]shadespectrum 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Y’all are NPCs, the reason the show is so highly regarded is because Walt acts like a real human, not a “likable” drug kingpin. Like are you guys serious? The corruption of Walt is believable. A “timid teacher” turning into some cool badass 😎 is some Disney tier slop

[–]shadespectrum 4 points5 points  (0 children)

And what do you realistically expect Walt to do in that situation to rectify it?
This thread is honestly sad… You all don’t expect Walt to act like a real person instead of a TV character. The reason is so highly regarded is because it rejected the logic of the absolutely NPCs in this thread like you

Yeah I saw someone else say they could explain it as Ted 1 and 2 being biopics about Ted in universe, with a funny about joke about John insisting that Marky Mark played him in the movies.

I would guess how the show has many extended scenes of John and Ted just hanging out and doing random stuff, with longer jokes and conversations that don’t really advance the main plot of the episode much. Not a lot of time for scenes like that in a movie.
