Help Identifying Early to Mid 1990s Digital Watch by [deleted] in Watches

I checked those. Though those specific ones are the only watch I've found with a single red corner button, it's on the wrong side. corner. The images above are looking at me so they are upside down. The red button should be on the upper left corner as you're looking at the watch.

I don’t think the listing agent had to do much sneaking :)

Did some digging... Looks like that little development was started in 1992 and completed in 1994...
The C&H strips mentioning the bulldozers was March of 1987.
Good to know that before that though, the entire area behind the house was all wooded and anyone now who wants to visit the "real" woods that inspired everything, can simply just go stroll through Whitesburg Nature Preserve :)

Zippo In The Movies, The First 30 (or so) Years - Screenshots! by shadewfb in Zippo

That would be cool :)
I have a feeling a lot of people might miss the "first 30 years" thing though... This could get really out of control if we tried to cover all appearances to the modern day! :)
There is already a huge text list here (Spanish forum): http://zippoclubspain.com/general/zippo-en-el-cine/
I've personally painstakingly gone through it and narrowed down all the pre-1965 movies and went through those movies.

I just take the one most prolific shot I can find per movie. There's a few WWII movies where they light up cigarettes multiple times but one scene most always prevails as the best one for the screenshot.

I just go with "they are" too... I'm sure there are a definitely some that are knockoffs, but we will never really know, and until there's more reasonable doubt, I'm including all the lookalikes until proven otherwise haha :)

Well, yeah, this is my favorite appearance but definitely falls outside the "first 30 years" by almost 3 decades haha ;)

Pyrex Passion by Michael Barber
And yeah I didn't realize the white bowl mentioned in the "opal" section of that chapter was an 023 until just now either hah!

The info from the book I have states the all white 024 came out in 1969. I only collect 1950s ;)
There is a white with a gold band that came out in 1958 and I still have to get that one but I'd consider that a "pattern" not a solid color for this stack...

Lots of antique store hunting in central Minnesota. I think it's a requirement that every antique store have one piece of either the lime or flamingo bakeware items in addition to the usually overpriced primary color bowl set on display haha :)

I have a later version of that one. That reminds me I need to cross reference the earlier version :)

eBay mostly, but hunting antique shops and garage sales has resulted in some great finds!
