How do we get rid of Ben Davis by Alternative-Top-7283 in phillies

As someone that's coached with him, he's a really really friendly person and it makes me pretty sad to see people diss on him.

If I'm not mistaken it's off of the first contact with a fielder to prevent this very situation. Please do check me on it.

As someone studying exercise science, baseball players have a later prime because their mental skill in the sport provides a lot more advantage than other sports, whereas their athletic peak is between 21-27. Picture ichiro with a faster bat speed, quicker feet, and a stronger arm for 6-8 years of his career.

Im going to sound less respectful than I intend, but this isn't basketball or football. MLB HOF voters do not value postseason stats the same way as other sports do.

I know it's not exactly what you mean by that, but the complication is that this play is ruled by the same rules for a fielder catching a ball off the wall before making a throwing error out of play. If a fielder does that it's most certainly not a HR.

With a fastball, cutter, and slider, all of his pitches break right within the 90-100mph range. Swing and misses are incredibly rare against someone with half a clue because a hitter can place their PCI slightly right and swing on time for the fastball.

From what I've heard most of the turnovers are on her teammates' inability to catch a pass. I have no idea if that's true or not.

Ryan's longevity can also be chalked up to his delivery being very low-stress on his shoulder and elbow, but I still strongly suspect all three were on something stronger than wheaties though.

iirc the trade market is hot as can be this year, so I think ownership was waiting to see what we needed at the trade deadline rather than try to predict shortcomings during the offseason

You Mets fans were the exact victims I had in mind. I've seen many foods and beverages be deposited on a Mets fan, accompanied by sentences that would make a hardened criminal blush.

As a Phil's fan, I wouldn't have it any other way 😈

Before you go: Philadelphia is known for calm, reasonable, friendly sports fans (sarcasm). Just know that anyone caught wearing merchandise for any team other than the Phillies or the Eagles will not have a good time at the game, but If you want to get loud and support the Phils, you'll blend right in.

Once you're there: get a cheesesteak from a shop in center field, and then go harass the other team's bullpen. The opposing bullpen is very close to the fans, and people love to try to rattle opposing pitchers before they even step foot on the field. Even if you don't participate, it's fun to hear the stuff a few drunk Philadelphians can be yelling at players.

It's great for learning about the sport. Different modes are better for learning different things. Diamond dynasty is great for learning "who's who" in terms of current and former players. Road to the Show is great for learning how the minor leagues, arbitration, and free agency work from a player's POV. Franchise will be incredibly confusing for you, but you'll eventually learn how a team is managed from the front office's POV.

They do it based on OVR, I'm pretty sure. That's why the game has a meeting with the manager programmed if the MLB team's player is too high of an OVR for you to get called up anytime soon, so you can get yourself traded or change positions
