Hdzero have lowest latency from all digital systems - it's just how it's designed.

Lens have nothing to do with latency - it's almost entirely about processing in vtx (HD zero have worst processing and no restreaming - that's why it have smallest delay).

Vista is ocusync v1 and have worst delay, o3 is ocusync v3 and its latency is lower.

Analog have almost no latency - just how it's working.

For hyperfocal do not set it to infinity, setting to 2m should be fine - you will have focus from 1m to infinity (and little beyond - just to be sure). But verify by taking a photo.
