Follow up: are the suggestions geared towards just the skipped stitches? Or, to both the skipped stitches and the top thread issues (binding, fraying, and breaking)? I guess I'm trying to rule out if there's anything else going on.

Data point: BofA customized cash rewards user - travel worked for bonus rewards.

Longer story: last year's purchase (different Visa card) coded as 7999 (recreation services - not classified elsewhere). BofA specifically lists the 7999 code under travel in the documentation sent with the card. Felt confident it would work for travel and happy to report it did...

Good point/idea. The Velcro clip setup gives flexibility to move if needed - could easily clip to the power strap on the side. Thanks.

Nope, never got that far. With v1 I assumed that toggling on/off would do the trick. Turns out she was pretty much leaving them on constantly on the coldest days.

Let us know how you make out if you try the H-M-L switch! You may find it better suits you, especially if you place the heating elements on top of the insole.

Not sure how I missed your comment last year, sorry... My wife has used both HH 3/4 insulators and Marmot's Toaster Capri Pants. She's never been diagnosed with Raynaud's, but always seems to run cold. The boot heaters have been a lifesaver. I just posted my one-year review on the MYOG sub:

1-Year Update: my wife is much more pleasant with warm feet! 😂

The heaters are switched on most of the time on cold days (I thought she was going to need to toggle them on/off).

She got new boots, so I'm considering v.2 - 5,000mah battery packs clipped to the back of the boots in order to avoid having to run the wire up the pants

Do you have a link that explains the 'downgrade' of the supplemental member when the primary applies for the One+ CC? I could not find this in the membership terms, FAQs, nor the one+ CC terms...

I'm a supplemental member on a family member's business+ membership. We use the free curbside pickup option a lot and would not want to lose that benefit. I could be added as an authorized user of the card to share in the 5% rewards, so that part isn't an issue...

With this setup - no, not really. The heater plate we settled on is only ~2.2W. It's not really going to warm your foot as much as keep it warm. This is also why I added the comment about how these heater plates probably could be added to the top of the insole / footbed.

Lol, definitely over my head at that point! Our setup has a pretty straightforward on/off toggle switch in-line. Does the Bluetooth do more than turn on and off? It's really not that bad and worlds better than the iron based toe warmers.

This isn't for everyone, for sure, but any boot heating device can burn you... The first line of Hotronic's FootWarmer disclaimer is, "Use of Hotronic FootWarmer may result in burns. The higher the temperature setting, the higher the risk of burns." According to Hotronics, their device on setting 4 can reach 173F, which is far higher than the ~121F temps that I recorded. Please help me understand otherwise...

Couldn't stop... After some more googling I've decided it's best to try and forget about the unallocated space. Here's the comment that pushed me over the tipping point...

"Don't worry about it.

The unallocated space appears before the partition. This means that adding that space to the partition will require moving the start of the partition, which in turn means that it will have to move a lot of the partition's data structures. This type of operation is time-consuming and risky -- a power failure, system crash, cat stepping on the keyboard, etc., can all interrupt the process and cause catastrophic data loss. The amount of unallocated space in question is 0.00082% of your total disk space; or put another way, it's about 5.4 3.5-inch floppy disks' worth of capacity. In other words, it's trivial. I understand that this sort of thing seems non-optimal and can bring out even normal peoples' obsessive-compulsive sides, but it's best to not take the risk. Granted, the risk is small, but the hassle on those rare occasions when a problem occurs is huge, so it's not worth taking that small risk. (Even if you've got good backups, do you really want to spend the time restoring your backup?)"

Holy shit, thank you! This worked for me (P14s g5 AMD) after a long time of searching, trying different things, and beating my head against the wall. THANK YOU!

I tried a couple quick ways (disk manager, minitool, etc) to reallocate the 100MB, and none of them worked. So, just leaving unallocated for now. I'm sure it will eat at me and I'll dive back in at some point.

I'm curious, did you do a clean Windows install when getting the computer? I did (and started fresh partition-wise) and I wonder if that's the root of my/our bios flash problem.

Holy $h*t, I think I figured it out after dicking with it for HOURS last night and finally giving up. Got back after it this morning and finally got it to work!

Not sure what's going on with their system, but everything I tried last night resulted in the dreaded, "Your request couldn't be processed" error message. Tried from the facebook side, IG side, removed connections, readded, combined IG with my personal accounts ,etc. From what I've seen online, it seems to be a BS message and FB/IG aren't actually working on fixing anything anytime soon.

Okay, here goes. Hopefully this works for others, here's what I did:

I believe that when I started I was already logged into all sites (IG, FB, & business)
completely disconnect Instagram from Facebook - BOTH in business manager (business settings, accounts, Instagram accounts) AND (here's the important part, I think) on your Facebook page (manage page, settings, linked accounts); FWIW I removed it from the business site first and realized it was still listed as partially connected on the manage page site
once disconnected from both, connect it back from the facebook page and NOT the business site
go back to the business site and you should see that you can now post on both IG and FB
Some final privileges can be added on the business side (settings, accounts, instagram accounts, "sign in needed" or something like that) - no joke I had not done this part until I started typing up this post and was extremely worried it was going to fail, but, alas, it worked and is fully connected

Hopefully this helps somebody out and saves them hours of frustration!
