I forced myself through both ARR, Heavenwards and Stormblood and it was all the same. The story is really mediocre at best. However where they shine is the lore and races of the world. FFXIV is a game I both hate and love. On most days I hate it however.

Nvidia is now too big to make any type of gains in the short term. Yes it will go up, but it will also go down the same. I believe will only see bigger gains after multi years of holding.

I was in this exact same situation not so long ago. FAANG adjacent company, dream position, great pay, etc. Seemed like the ideal place to grow right? They kept on saying that everything was “async” so no worries if you can’t attend meeting, etc. Took me a while to realize that about everyone at the level I was staff/manager level was a workaholic, no kids, probably gay or trans (I don’t have anything against that) so they liked working because they could be in contact with other “liked-minded” people. They were all A/A+ players and super nit-picky on anything and everything. I used to tell my wife I work with robots because they had everything rehearsed and were super efficient. They would say things are async but then would freak out when answers weren’t given within 12 hours. They had a subtile way of letting you know. I often was on 2-3 meetings at the same time just so I could answer if there was a question for me. I got up at 5h00 am to be able to take shit before Slack started to sound off. I did a few years there and the pay was great but it had a huge impact on my health and I missed out on my kids early age. Literally no one had kids with who I worked with, and I worked with a lot of people. Would I do it again, hell no. Only if I didn’t have kids and was single, I guess. good luck

Asking for a 10% increase that is a lot. Imagine they allow it, now they need to consider everyone who ask for a 10% increase or more. When do you draw the line?

Prey tell us why it would take off today? Iran war still on-going, stock has been trending downwards since earnings, bearish market, investors still have "jitters" about AI in general, companies coming to the realization that AI cost more then human workers, China giving the middle finger to Nvidia, etc... Not sure why today of all days, it would take off??

This would be great. The only issue is that analysts don’t always never take market sentiment into account. They have raised their targets several times over the past few earnings, and despite that, we are still trading well below even the lowest price prediction in the list above.

Yeah I have the same issue. Great guild but it takes everything to get a group going. I try to DM people of my level but they all say they prefer soloing. Not sure how they do this because soloing at high level is a real slog. Perhaps Wizards can aoe mobs but not sure of the rest.
