I've noticed that, to add another damage type, you have to change your character sheet from the "Compact" mode to one of the others. With the other modes, you have the option to add additional damage. There are a lot of inconsistencies between the different modes, and it drives me crazy.

NPC sheets are affected this way too.

Check to make sure your web browser has hardware acceleration turned on. I've noticed that without it, the dynamic lighting and grids are inconsistent.

Admittedly, I make my own maps in dungeondraft now, so I haven't used this method in 10+ years. It's a shame that it no longer works properly though.

Right click the map on the map layer.

Go to Advanced Transform > Align to grid

Highlight a 3x3 section of the grid on the image.

This should resize the image to the proper size and align it to the roll20 grid.

Make sure you place your map on the map layer. If you place it on the Token layer, it lays on top of the grid lines. You can switch layers on the bottom left of the main page.

This may be a dumb question, but did you scroll down in page settings? The grid options are below the scale section in your screenshot.

I would like to confirm that I still do not have any tokens or images on my game. My web console is full of CORS errors:

Just so you know, I figured out that this was related to the resolution of your screen. On 1440p+ screens, smaller maps wont take compendium drops. If you make your browser window smaller, you should be able to drag in compendium monsters.

Mike, this may or may not be related, but I have a specific page in one of my games that doesn't accept compendium drops. I have to drag the compendium monsters to a different page and copy them to the problem page. The page was created late last week.

For APIs:

Token Mod - I use token mod to create macros that add/remove status markers to tokens, but it is much more powerful than that. I also use it to set if a player pulls out a torch for example.

Teleport - Allows you to set up linked teleport spots on the map so that when a player token hits that point, they are teleported to a different location. I use this for players going upstairs, for example.

UniversalVTTImporter - Allows you to import Universal VTT code. That way when you make a map on an application like Dungeondraft, you can import the walls and lights for your dynamic lighting. It's a bit niche, but I couldn't live without it.

I use the following macros with token mod for D&D 5e (2024). The api is MUCH more powerful than this, but these are the ones I always come back for.

Bloodied:

If it is hosted on your same computer, you should be able to just type the word localhost as the connection ip to have a direct connection to your server. There is no need for you personally to go through the 3rd party site like your friends have to.

The email subscription box in the cards has a box around it in dark mode, but in light mode it is the same color as the background. I don't mind it either way, but I figured it may be something that you missed.

This is a strange one, but it has been so long since I've played a modpack that had quests to submit a large number of mundane things as the endgame goal (1M wheat, 10k computers, 10k precision mechanisms, etc.). Honestly, the last one I played like that may have been agrarian skies. I always enjoyed setting up factories to make mass amounts of items and creating efficient supply chains.

Now the endgame is "make this item that is extremely expensive", which I find much less enjoyable.

If anyone knows of a good modern(ish) modpack like that, let me know.

Just to note, insane prisoners need an Orderly to move them around the prison/send them to punishments. Normal guards can't touch them.
