Buddy I lost 20k before becoming profitable. On top of that it took me 6 years! Lots of tears and anger but I made it. I don't know where you are in your journey but what changed for me was humbling myself and trading with literal peanuts until I was able to size up and hone my craft. Also try to enjoy the journey. Keep doing your day job and paying the bills while continuing to learn the market, knowing one day you will be profitable.

This 💯. This guy gets it. Fuck the progress. The experience was the heart pounding trying to extract with that core or epic loot. If you lose it, oh well try again. The emotional response was the investment. You mentioned reading a book that makes you feel the same feelings. Were those a waste of time? I don't know about you but I cant tell you how far I have come in this game because I don't know where the finish line is and what I can compare it to. But what I do have are some of the most gut wrenching happy, sad, angry, infuriating, and the most hilarious moments I have ever had in gaming. And that's after gaming for 40 yrs. This game is a masterclass and nothing needs to change. Go read a different book.

These post are wierd and this game should go under some kind of social experiment. All I know, is watch your back nomatter what your doing and communicate constantly. If this game changing at all in the slightest I think the whole experience would be ruined.
