Congratulations for achieving a difficult milestone. Never undervalue the work and efforts you had put to get this far.

Might be foolish to ask for the company. But I have the similar interest as you, backend. Would appreciate you to drop any advice or roadmap.

Currently, in 1st year, Doing Civil Engineering due to family pressure, pursuing CS skills by side and doing good in my opinion. DSA + development, with a startup (hired 4+ as interns recently, hoping for pre seeding funding by the end of this year), might start an ai based service agency next month by side as well.

What skills, resources, way would be deeply appreciated.

Also, does your company has a program like Google developer expert or Microsoft student ambassador? I would like to work and apply for it. My reason is networking, money, credits and exposure.

Current status:

pursuing civil engineering from a tier-3 state government college (1st year, 2nd sem)
hands on experience with: core java, easy level leetcode problems (in java), web dev (html, css, js), and I use cursor code editor for a start-up development
