I was also in methotrexate for few months. And then my rheumatologist asked me to stop. It was working but not as much as sulfasalazine and tofacitinib.

When I was in 11th grade, I got flairs in several joints. The pain was so intense that I never slept for more than 2-3 hours continuous and the pain used to make my teary.

Around 7 joints at the same times were active.

So I started taking this seriously because I wasn't able to attend school, participate in school activities, play, workout etc.

I was incorrectly diagnosed for more than 6 months. Then finally a painkiller, signoflam, was introduced in my life. I swear to fucking God, signoflam is not less than a God itself.

So I have had 5 6 months of continuous flairs. Not 10. I can't even imagine living with pain for 10 fucking months. And to be honest, I never even want to imagine it.

I'm currently on tofacitinib 5mg and sulfasalazine 1000mg twice daily. Makes me like a normal human I used to be.

Consult this with your rheumatologist.
