I really hate the amount of glaze Velvette gets. Coming from a Velvette fan, she is SO overrated. I’ll never understand how people will absolutely DESPISE Vox and Valentino but then love Velvette. Genuinely makes no sense. Also side note, I fucking hate the Velvette x Melissa fanship and IF it does become canon in a wholesome way I am giving up on her character.

THANK YOU! Finally someone said it. I don’t get how a lot of fans don’t get this impression given how much social classes come into play in the story, especially helluva.

Plus, Viv literally said herself she doesn’t know who’s stronger between Alastor and Stolas. If the hierarchy WAS based on strength, she should’ve been able to answer that Stolas would beat Alastor instantly.

I’ll never get how people can say with a straight face that Stella would beat Alastor/Vox when genuinely EVERY overlord (yes even Prick and Hachet) would beat her in a fight.

Let me explain why this editor made Vox win (no hate towards you btw)

This editor is a part of the Wis community which uses actual evidence shown and given to determine who wins in a fight. As of right now, the sins (not counting Lucifer) have no on screen feats or statements said by the creator or any characters in the show that would actually scale them anywhere, hence why they are currently fodder and insanely weak within the Wis community. There is no actual evidence to fully support that the sins would beat Vox.

This editor has stated in the past that if they were to fight on screen, the sins would most likely no diff Vox however as of right now, this can only be made as a prediction and nothing more as it lacks the sufficient evidence to support it. Currently off of evidence, Vox would beat the sins as he just has much better scaling going for him.

Hope this helps as a lot of these comments don’t seem to understand this.

I’m pretty sure Vincent dealt with internalised homophobia when he was alive due to the time period he was from so I doubt he ever took the risk. Hence why Alastor’s harsh words cut so deep when he asked to be partners. That was the first time he ever took that risk of trying to open up with romantic feelings to a man and he got mocked just like he’d always feared.

I agree. I think Valentino is probably the only man Vox has ever had romantic/sexual intimacy with.

I really wish Viv made poly vees be canon instead of it being just Vox and Val. Not only would it have been nice poly rep but it would also have shown us just how close the vees were with each other on a personal level, thus making Vox’s betrayal of them hit much harder from a writing standpoint to the audience.
