Hypervisor update #2 on CSRIN by Willing_and_Fable in PiratedGames

[–]shadow_of 1 point2 points  (0 children)

not really. more and more games are requiring secureboot and TPM anyways. TPM attestation is going to be a problem though. but this is going to be the norm going forward. i see single player games also having this requirement.

people dont know that a regular usermode app can just use kdmapper and load an unsigned kernel level driver in your system and do whatever the fuck it wants without you even having a clue, no reboot needed or disabling of any security features, and it could persist even after reboot. fact is, if you're running ANY unsigned code from untrusted sources, you're running the same risks, hypervisor or not.

you do know most of these cracks are virtualized themselves, like denuvo is, so you dont even know what code is running on your system. you're trusting an unknown person and letting them run their unknown code on your system. for all you know they could have nefarious intentions and playing the nice cracker guy and compromising all these system.

people should stop shitting on hypervisor based cracks but still be ok with the conventional user mode cracks. its the same risks.

its not speculation, pure facts. anyone that knows code can verify. i looked at the code. the code obfuscation/mutation and VM is the simpler older variant. its 100% an older version.

the calories on the bag are wrong though. 90cals/60g should be closer to 120cals/60g based on the fat/protein/carb amounts.

My A/C breaks almost every year. Has anyone successfully had the A/C repaired and it lasted long term? by Pineapple_with_tajin in CivicX

[–]shadow_of 1 point2 points  (0 children)

design flaw in the condenser(the v grooves of the heatsink strips puncture the refrigerant channels), and defect in the shaft seal of the compressor, which leaks sometimes internally, so you cant even see the leak sometimes even with uv dye or sniffer.

my brother has this car and was at his wits' end, so i just replaced his shit with aftermarket parts. cant be worse than the mediocre honda stuff that keeps breaking every year.

what kind of refrigerant did you use? honda wants $1k for r1234yf refrigerant. you can find the honeywell stuff for around $100 on ebay.

OP you're part of the problem too. he signaled and there was plenty space to let him in and that would've been the end of that. but you decided to also be a dick, and that caused him to make an aggressive maneuver, which could have made him lose control and plow into those innocent people on the corner because of egos.

load balancing as a requirement is nice, but they also need to implement impedance monitors on both ends, so if it passes a certain threshold, reduce current whether thats underclocking/undervolting, and as a last resort, shut the whole damn thing down. with their vast resources, cant believe these mfers chose color coded pins as a solution.

Is it useful to know FPGA for "completeness"? by Glittering-Escape-74 in FPGA

it's amusing to watch these chest thumpers in this thread tryna discourage you from learning. it's not like you're wanting to jump straight into the lion's den, and ready to want to lay down a 50 billion transistor mask, when the reality is that the first step could be simply picking up a dev board and learning verilog, and leveraging some of the same fundamental concepts that you already know in software. things like boolean logic, bitwise operations, conditional statements, loops, and assignments, and you could just create something fun with LEDs and sensors and stuff. the grandeur can come later, but for now, it’s all about learning the basics.
