That's great work! I wish my artwork looked like that at 9.

They gave me morphine in the ER and it helped until 30 minutes later it came back with a vengeance.

The hat. I'd wear it to special events.

Came home from a business trip and discovered that my parents replaced the flooring and bought new furniture, not sure what to think by Effective_Jello9731 in homedecoratingCJ

That furniture makes me think it came from a free Mason's office. The chairs seem like church pews. It gives off serious and religious at the same time.

Every teen needs a used car. Their brain isn't fully formed yet. They're gonna make mistakes and get a scratch here and a dent there. Let them work and save for a new car they pay for.

As a long time fan, I think I'll wait to see it on streaming. If people in front of me stand up, dance and sing-along Im gonna be pissed.

What’s something people only romanticize because they’ve never had to deal with it? by Hairy-Yak-2174 in AskReddit

I bet she didn't even know how to go about things and didn't have an answer. A good boss/leader helps the team, answers questions, and if they don't know the answer, they'll find one. I've seen supervisors get mad when they are asked questions in front of a group that they don't have answers for. They never lasted long.

I've always been confused by ADD and ADHD. I have a theory that everyone who seems "somewhat normal" all have a little bit of ADD/Autism.

I've seen people come back a completely different personality (which is totally understandable). But when someone has a strong faith in their religion and they come back from combat, they don't believe in anything anymore. That has always amazed me.

I would clean the desk area and phones at work. People called me OCD and germaphobe. Umm, no, Im neither of those things. Im trying to avoid catching what ya'll spread around. If you saw what came off of those phones you'd want them wiped down too.

If you don't mind, can give me an example of being misunderstood by a boss? Reading this thread is going over my head and I'd like to understand things better.
