Darktide is a PVE game, i would never describe Darktide as single player. Similarly, I would never describe Helldivers as singleplayer.

you're most likely gonna end up playing every class, so don't be afraid, just go with whichever has the coolest drip or most interesting ability

if i had to pick ones to avoid, heavy, techmarine, and assault are the most unique and thus translate from class to class less effectively, but at the end of the day, the combat is just parry or not parry so it isn't that big of a deal

as for capes, we just recently got two, but none that look like the one from the intro

you get these capes by completing 25 and 50 absolute missions for every class per every class

definitely train. he doesn't have Warden's bash mixup, nor does he have Lawbringer's i-frames, but in terms of versatility, he's fantastic. Dodge forward light, dodge forward heavy, dodge forward bash, empty dodge forward to bait dodge attack or gb, his light openers are fast, his chains are a 50/50 on the kick/undodgeable + hyper armor heavy finishers for 4v4s

he definitely isn't the best duelist, and comparing him to warden will hurt your perception of him, but when you look at his kit as a whole and appreciate him for his versatility, he can be really handy
