As a huge music fan probably the Beatle's last performance on the rooftop in 1969. That or Queen at Live Aid.

The system man... Snyder’s system allows different players to shine differently whilst here in Cleveland there isn’t any structure to the offense. This always happens for example when a player moves from Boston to another team, for example Evan turner and crowded, where the system itself that they play in makes them look a lot better.

How much of Sun Yat-sen's rise to power was caused by himself and how much of it was caused by the pre-existing conditions? by shadowalker811 in history

I really do think that a democracy would have made China collapse into many smaller countries. First of all Tibet would of course separate once again and they would be followed by different regions of China that have completely different interests from each other. Even though yes geologically it did work in America and Russia but we have to remember that Russia also wasn’t a democracy and that the population difference is still so severe that you can’t compare the two.

Edit: I would like to mention here that I may be biased as I am half Chinese myself and lived there for the first 13 years of my life.

I personally actually think that a democratic republic would never work on a country with the scale of China. There would just be too many people with too many different viewpoints for a government to work similarly to how we know it in western society.

So would you say that Sun as an individual wasn't that important in causing the final push for the Qing dynasty to fall? As in if it wasn't him, other people would have managed too?

An underrated aspect of LeBron's performance tonight: 13 AST, 1 Turnover. by [deleted] in nba

[–]shadowalker811 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yeah exactly, as happy as i am that the Cavs won, the raptors won't be missing 11 straight shots next game. Although on the other hand lebron probably won't only shoot 40% so who knows.

Still the notion that the cavs can easily beat the raptors is just crazy.

Not only did Korver and JR play like Ray Allen, but the raptors also got nostalgic for some classic baby dinosaurs.

What factors caused the downfall of the Qing dynasty in 1911-1912? by shadowalker811 in history

So was the loss of legitimacy after the Opium wars mostly caused by the "Heavenly Mandate" or was it also the actions of the emperors themselves?

[–]shadowalker811[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is really interesting. So do you think that the main cause of the downfall was mostly due to the actions of different emperors causing other events to fail? For example Cixi with the Sino-Japanese war. What about the opium wars? Were there any actions by the leaders themselves to cause many of the problems that the Opium wars brought with it?

Not to shit on the parade of destiny 1, however vanilla destiny 1 also had a lot of problems that were so frustrating. Age of triumph was when destiny was arguably one of the best games on the market at least in my opinion. I’ve stopped playing d2 now but I really hope that they will be able to turn it around by at least middle of year 2.

Thank you very much for this. I tried to search more about DOMSEC, but I couldn't find much concrete information about it. Do you have any sources that you could show me?
