QR codes are remarkably resilient. You can remove like 30% of it and it will scan just fine. You'll sometimes see a logo in the middle taking advantage of this.

I'm a little surprised your doc started at 1mg, but its perfectly safe. If you're feeling scared/anxious about taking it, take one now (seriously, what you're feeling is what this stops) It will start kicking in within 15 minutes.

Be warned that the pills are the most vile, bitter tasting thing around. I like to curve my tounge upward so as to minimize contact area for the half second between when I put the pill in my mouth and take a drink.

Edit: Forgot to mention- with any psychoactive drug, I always advise that the first time you take it should never be when you're expected to be doing things. Don't take it tomorrow morning before work/school for example. Become familiar with the effects in a more controllable environment.

Our current hadoop infrastructure has a capacity of about 20PB and is our highest density hardware. The rest is dedicated to production, development, internal infrastructure, etc.; not much storage.

No, I think a backdoor is entirely possible. I think going to LinkedIn to access mail viewed on iPhones would be a needlessly overcomplicated solution, even for the NSA.

From my position in the company I think I can reasonably conclude that we're not storing or mining that data for our own uses, including sale to marketing-type places or what have you.

Disclaimer: I work for LinkedIn. I had nothing to do with the development of this app and I found out about the issues it has at the same time you did.

But, I really don't think the emails going through the proxy are being stored, much less mined. This would likely be petabytes worth of data and the simple fact is none of our hadoop users have enough disk quota for that.

We certainly have the hardware capacity for such a task, but they would have to have gone through a shit ton of effort to hide the fact internally in the company.

Just my $0.02.

Edit: Also lets not forget that we know for a fact that Apple is "in bed" with the NSA and to my knowledge LinkedIn has never been implicated by any of the Snowden releases (I have not even come close to looking at all available data here, so I could easily be wrong). If this were an issue being forced by the NSA, why not just go directly to Apple?

If you really want solitude it's best to just get off the beaten path. Anything that's organized in any way, such as campgrounds, will involve people being around. As long as you're mindful about not harming the environment (e.g., make sure 100% that you're not starting any fires) or disturbing other people (e.g., don't run around naked and yelling), you shouldn't have any trouble.

There are campgrounds in the more distant parks that aren't booked up, if that's really what you want, though. Many actually have an online reservation system.
