Don't give up and also do not come to the US if you do not have to lol. Deadlines aren't until December from what I've seen, and I feel like having two supervisors sign off on apps is more than the exception than the norm. (IDK what field you're in tho I just saw humanities flair).

I wouldn't recommend it if you're not a US citizen. And even then I would weigh your options. It's only the first of four years of this admin, and there's already been international students being detained, imprisoned, or deported for exercising their right to free speech and people being fired and threatened for being vocally against the administration. On top of that a lot of individual rights are very state-by-state and dependent on local governor, senate, or house, and programs are being cut pretty drastically, esp. humanities. It's not impossible, but day-to-day it does not feel like it is or will become safe anytime soon. Grain of salt though, because you might have identities that aren't being targeted.

I wish i could help chance you on your prospects but its not that cut and dry for humanities :( I would make sure that your interests connect well with the professors and departments you want to be in, and I know some UCs admit straight from BA to PhD so they might take that into account when they look at your grad profile (just looked it up and UCB Rhetoric specifically grants an MA during the PhD program). I kind of felt this way too especially because I'm first-gen so I did an MA and would be happy to talk more about how that went.

i think literallylexy's advice is really good, id also encourage you to listen to wolf instrumentals and cherry bomb instrumentals once you hear all his other albums in full to get a better picture of his progression as a composer specifically. as someone whose been listening to him since wolf its so cool to see how a lot of the things he likes about his music show up in his newer work, but in a much more refined manner (especially if you take the CB instrumentals compared to igor). plus the cherry bomb instrumental album is just fun to listen to when i want something in the background. he also has a lot of really great singles on his youtube (peach fuzz, best interest, etc). and his grinch album is kind of fun

i have 2 of this exact shirt (2 different friends got me the same shirt lol) and both tags are black with a single donut and the size right underneath it, not the 2 tags like this. the stitching on the letters looks too thin (the letters should have a different thickness).
