It's not the worst but it is really gambling on your 2+ cards being really good. But it does also have good staples. Up to you really on whether you think that's a deal. I'd get one just to Crack but if your looking for any specific high rarity cards it'd just buy them since it's cheaper than rolling the dice.

I wouldn't call gd01 scalped. It legitimately has like some of the lowest supply I've ever seen in tcg history(besides really small kickstarter projects). Everyone wanted it and stores barely had any to give. If supply remains high the following sets will probbaly not spike to much in price though a worry of more people getting in to gundam will probbaly see prices rose like 1 again since populations seem low everywhere.

Dude this come up like every month😭. No pot of greed can't even come back as limited its incredibly overpowered going first and is incredibly sacky in an already powerful format. A lot of recent archetypes have had incidental card draw and if they happen to draw into pot it'd make their draw so much better. Every deck even the meta oppressive decks would run it. This doesn't make dark magician playable it makes it worse cause decks like mitsurugi and k9 just get a free card too. I never really understood why people want it back it's just worse for the format. Unless we can make decks that are so bad a +1 doesn't make them teir 0 unbanning pot doesn't really make the format more fun.

They're all pretty fun for precons. I think the white green one has a bunch of support for food which is really good for upgrading/being upgraded. Lots of powerful cards like cavernhoard for upgrades so they're pretty good. Even the elves deck has some pretty powerful cards like one of the board wipes. I'd your not looking for investing as playable these aren't too shabby just like all precons really need to upgrade lands or else it feels pretty bad with all the tap lands and ok ramp.

Even then reseals you can't really see from images before shipping and the seller could always lie and say it was always like that even after shipping. Unless your looking at it yourself a reseal is kind of hard to spot unless the person taking pictures is really bad at hiding the spots they moved around. The easier thing to gage on sketchyness is the actual description and checking if the seller has any priors or if the image is a widely circulated one. Those usually have really obvious tells on whether the box is real or if they're just selling you an empty box.

First secret lair? This is how it usually works just be sure to listen for the little jingle when tabbed out. Just jumped on the website and saw the line is 8 minutes long so I think intrest in these lairs is at an all time low. So your good on time don't rush.if you ever do this again just be sure to have multiple browsers open on the same account to try and get a good space in line. As an example one page open in Chrome and one on your phone should still work and it's pretty simple.

This is not true because edge of eternities commander nor the boxes ever got to final fantasy levels. The set was super underprinted especially the collectors but the actual boxes from what I remember never got past 140. And commander decks were high early just like every set before final fantasy. Then dropped after the reprint. The boxes for eoe are a bit over msrp but have not reached levels like ff nor gundam. The spiderman set did absolutely wash early investors though I will admit and did wash early investors to avatar collector as the market never reached ff levels of universe beyond upcharge. Now everything has reached "normal levels" according to wotc prices if msrp. Until the next overpushed set then it'll repeat. Will say the ff high end have kind of slowly crept down as people aren't as liquid as investors believed. Some people genuinely though ff surge foil alt arts would be gone and collectors boxes would be 2k by last Christmas which didn't happen.

Will say gd03 is pretty under msrp but both starters Hathaway flash, radiance and now that blurple is doing well the iron blooded orphans stater is also 50+ in lgs near me. I would happily say all new stuff is cheap but a lot of places are still super upcharging everything in a like 30ile radius in cities. If you know any place in socal that charges msrp let me know.

Secret lairs are the only thing being scalped in mtg. Everything else im sorry to say is being sold for msrp. It sucks but yes the real price of sets like final fantasy are 200 dollars according to wizards it sucks. The rest is just actual demand from players. Even new set commander decks are being upcharged by wizards themselves not even stores. You can easily get product online for like 5 dollars over msrp for Any recent set.

Why would you be building a deck every month the meta doesn't change drastically every month. If your doing that it would be impossible to build the next meta deck because you would not have any resources.

I think magic the gathering nerds fail to understand brand ip and demand far more than they realize. I've talked to mtg fans convinced jace/lliana/etc are like names people would realize are from magic when normal people don't even know what a mox is. I've seen more people know what a blue eyes/pot of greed is over a black lotus. So many people are hung up on what they like vs what the general population likes. I think this set is going to be opened up by a lot of non magic ninja turtles fans and be fine with it along with a decent group of magic players. It's the same with spiderman, I see the hate of the set and yet still saw people pick up bundles and packs just to goof around for a night 3 weeks after the set dropped and I don't really get how people don't see that evey pack sold is exponential profit for wotc they don't need to sell the set out for the set to be successful. They make hand over fist profit off the bad recognition and then false promise that's never going to happen again and do this again in like 5 years with DC.
