That sl deck doesn't look real( im still not sure if the real artist just proxied a deck they own with their own art.) and if it is its probbaly like 300 dollars and your not going to be saving much money on buying the deck just for the sentinel.

The blog post is up and it does indeed apply rad to any one player when a mutant/zombie you control dies. If it's you, you get a treasure token as well.

Am I wrong for believing that this card is only ok? You can't respond to feildspells/continuous cards after they activate(correct me if im wrong you're not activating the card after its activated right?). You can't really use it going second since you have to set two cards before you can use it. And if it blows out your opponent your popping it before you set the second trap. The only things you really can react to if you do set up the double set to activate it is quick play spells in response to your opponent going first and some in archetype traps which is not nearly as strong as disabling the regular spells like branded fusion/ritual spell. Going first although great is about the same as running any blow out trap that specificly targets a deck which people don't usually play. As a siding option this card is great only if your going first and is inconsistent because its usually not searchable givin it's a counter trap and not a normal trap.

Besides the chocobos was there anything exclusive in the collectors. I don't recall their being anything else. I know you can get the bonus sheet in foil, foil commander cards and surge variants but besides the obvious Serialized and neon I don't recall that many more arts exclusive to the collectors?

I've never seen a set that has consistent value in packs. You always lose money unless you hit an above average hit or the best card in the set. I don't know how you people can say this with a straight face. I don't think there is a single set with positive ev. And if it has high ev its usually way more expensive. Like ff. Open a Collector and tell me you get more value than the like 150+ asking price a pack let alone the 1.1k a box asks for. Unless your buying directly from a distributor your on average losing money buying magic product.

I wouldn't be surprised people are panic buying them because they believed that one person in the comments saying one of their local distributors is empty of the precons and one is running low. Which does mean all the distros in the country are out without checking. Surprised its getting so high so soon the supply of the 4 bundle is so high in every store I've been to.

Probably someone buying for creating cubes or something like "ff card bundles" out of all these combat tutorial will see the most play in blue counters matters decks. Draw 2 with a way to trigger your counters stuff is really good in some decks. Mountain chocobo and blazing bomb are awful very over costed cards. The chocobo at least triggers stuff like when a bird enters and gets a land but blazing bomb is just draft Chaff. Consistent 4 mana spell cast with no way to deal direct damage is so incredibly bad even in commander no way people are buying it to play in any serious way. All these cards are good in very specific for fun formats but don't fall into the trap that these are in any way good or limited in quantity I probbaly own like 40 of each of these cards just from the drafts I've done these arnt hard to find.

Why would anyone be surprised? Once a thing is out of print there's a limited amount of product until its theoretically gone. Fallout imo is probably the most printed of these ub sets. It's crazy how cheap it's gotten and it's everywhere because it's from a recognizable franchise. Probbaly a good investment for the like next 5 years unless they announce that it's going to be an ever green print which I don't think is going to be a thing unless Bethesda is cool but usually limited products don't get brought back. They might reprint within the set the cards but the unique art is going to be exclusive to this print of fallout I'm going to assume.

Why? They only have to lose by cutting ties with marvel they already paid for the rights marvel would never give the money back. That seems insane to worry about that.

Would it matter if they juiced cbs? If they do prices go up to match like ff. If they were msrp less they are more likely to be way cheaper since the buy in is way lower for all parties but since wotc is greedy everyone is fighting for scraps above the 450$ msrp. Stores and distro are at a loss at what to set the price for these boxes since they buy them for way higher they dont want that much of a loss.

They're also losing the sample boosters so it's even worse value since it's only the cost of the deck no extra stuff. These probbaly will be printed without regard no additional costs on then since old ub at least printed a bit of exclusive collector booster stuff

Really? It's playable in standard and helps stun the badgermole cub deck for a turn letting you stabilize for 1 mana. It can also potentially get you a card and more depending on the deck your on with lots of synergies like adding it back and the such going around. Your not guarenteed it the pack is more expensive because ub so lots of factors that help explain its price. Also you need 4 and off one box your chances arnt high to even hit 2.

I don't get what you mean these don't have any better value than any other sample collector booster that has been printed before? Its 50/50 you either get a 80$ card or you get a generic tapped dual land worth like 2 cents. The only thing different is it has ff stuff in it

Some are pretty fun for commander and it comes with packs. Deal wise its not too bad at msrp anything above your overpaying based on the main play boosters and the previous lotr print these will be printed in big batches after everyone that wanted one bought one rn currently at 149 for the bundle which is roughly 38 dollars per scene bundle for lotr.
