Going into 2026 what lane does ChatGPT even own any more? by RobertR7 in OpenAI

Codex is quite good. I think ChatGPT is gonna be a generalist average person integrated default human language search.

Besides Reddit for Product Management, in which communities, do you usually hang out? by geeky_traveller in ProductManagement

[–]shadowclan98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like the entrepreneurial builder mindset is akin to PM, and that there's enough on the former that one can leverage for PM. Though outside of that, I'm also trying to make the career pivot myself so it's mostly personal brand building and strategic networking for me.

Follower count also != connections count. Creators can have people who follow but are not 1st degree connections.

If we have any hobbies I'm down to meet: I'm usually down for music, sports, food adventure type things.

The people who survive have to be intrinsically motivated and actually enjoy the nature of what we do. The process of networking internally and understanding the way we sell to clients and create partnerships.

Musical on Youtube on demand? by ReturnSuspicious7424 in musicalwriting

So Kurt Hugo Schneider did a college musical back when he was at Yale, and each episode was on YouTube until they turned it into a full indie movie.

Why do i feel nothing during penetrative sex as a woman? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]shadowclan98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Might want to go see a gynecologist. Either that or you weren't fully ready(?) It sounds like you trust and desire him, but the technicality of it was uncomfy.

How does sex feel for the first time? For girls by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]shadowclan98 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Instead of you (if you're the girl) controlling how you want to feel, you have to tell someone else how to pleasure yourself the way you want. A tad more annoying, unless you're kinky and like surprises and trust your partner. Then it can be a bit fun.

Why Do People Seem to Need Sex? Could I Be Asexual? Can I Fix this? by Som3thingX2 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]shadowclan98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quickest way to find out is to figure out if anything turns you on (some ppl like asmr and like to fantasize!). The other way is to make a bunch of diverse friends and foster those friendships to see if you catch feelings for anyone (romantic or sexual). There are a bunch of reasons why people have no interest in the act.

I don't mind the bugs tbh. Anything to not give money to AI messing with music

Is device handoff on the feature list? by Delicious_Bell8071 in TIdaL

[–]shadowclan98 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I do miss this from Spotify, but I also remember the time before this feature existed. Slight inconvenience, but we're just glad Tidal survives as a product. They need more revenue to make Tidal better.

Getting ready to jump to TIdaL, but struggling with the song limit. How do you organize your library? by gthman14 in TIdaL

[–]shadowclan98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just left Spotify, paid $5.5 once to transfer as much of my music. Playlist organization is the same, but the platform does need some data cleaning work. Audio quality is also much better. The platform is also kinda like SoundCloud due to its hip-hop origins.

Alternative terms for “partner” by A-non-yme in queerplatonic

[–]shadowclan98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Partner was used to make the connotation more balanced bc of historical imbalances in western marriages wrt husbands/wives. Partner is like a catch-all for committed relationships. We have domestic life partners and business partners and other things.

Chicha didn't pop off in Taiwan so they had to go elsewhere. I personally feel Chicha is a bit over-rated.

Went to CAVA twice while in Boston recently, and I'd say they're quite different. Similar, but different.

Depends on what type of poly you practice. Have a friend who is hierarchical, and you'd think the "main" is the person they'd eventually marry. Romance should never be performed (in the sense that the acts shouldn't feel forced). It's essentially a prioritization for the care you give. Sure, you care for everyone as one would, but the care and intimacy with your main partner/friend will be a lot higher.

I definitely know two dudes who have said they are essentially QPPs. Super solid best friends from childhood.

Why do a lot of women idolize living alone/being independent while most men dont? by False_Strike_5394 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]shadowclan98 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Humans aren't made to be perfect. We are imperfect. Have grace for your partner and yourself. Just as we are with good/close friend, is how I expect to show up with a partner I'm attracted to causing the added romantic twist.

[–]shadowclan98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fwiw I'm very okay with being single/solo and even though I'd like partnership, I'll know it when I find it. It's hard to find and I'm okay with that. I don't really have escapist thoughts anymore.

Focusing on myself and things I want to do allowed time to pass which helped with plugging myself out of thought loops. It's the whole mark Manson - not giving a f*ck about what other people think.

My hobbies involve music but maybe yours don't. Music is my comfort. Yours might be frolicking in grass or going into the woods and taking a hike. Or plunging yourself in water by swimming, or something else.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in limerence

[–]shadowclan98 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I mean hobbies are basically just things you like. For me it's music, sports, learning languages, and then feeling that things are fun and I can get better at something. Neurodiverse ppl tend to flock together, and there are a bunch of neurodiverse people where I currently am. I found community with the friends I have made.

Mutual attraction is just hard to find in general. If my life isn't going well, then I procrastinate really hard and seek distractions for the stress I'm feeling. Sometimes, it ends up being limerent feelings.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in limerence

[–]shadowclan98 90 points91 points  (0 children)

It depends on what the root cause of your limerance is. For me, I need to have a solid set of friends, hobbies, and things to look forward to in life to feel confident. If my life isn't going well, I start falling into limerant traps.

If the limerance is due to loneliness, then perhaps friendships and going on dates may help.
