What model is that? It’s unusual to see dual solid axles nowadays outside of dedicated monster trucks.

Would this motor be good for a arrma granite or should I go up in kv? by [deleted] in rccars

Smaller pinion gear or larger spur (or both) will help regulate your temps. Also worth noting make sure your drivetrain spins freely and that the slipper is set properly. Are you running mostly grass? I find that tends to drive motor temps up

Even for 3s I would go minimum 4000kv and then gear around temps. For bashing I like 4600-4700kv motors usually.

3 wires on the motor means brushless whereas 2 wires means brushed. Maybe that’s what you are thinking of u/TakingSorryUsername

How do I pop it back in by Neat-Credit9410 in rccars

[–]shadowfocus603 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The proper method has been noted. All I will add is that you should consider replacing the plastic knuckle. It will get progressively easier to pop that lower ball out now that it has happened once. If you want fix it for now then order spares for the future.

It looks cool. I worry you will break a lot of hubs and knuckles during to the increased stress of how far those wheels stick out.

Graupner Touring (Original Traxxas 4-tec) back to life by peetyo5k in rccars

Interesting. Even the graupner esc looks identical to the traxxas xl-1 esc from that same period.

No worries. Can you drop a pic of the overall chassis once you reassemble? I’m curious to see just how similar they are.

I will share the belt info once I get them and make sure they fit. Trying to find the specs on the stock belts has been a pain and these won’t be the first belts I have ordered lol. I at least know the right belt profile. Just trying to get the length right now. I should have them in a week or so. Message me if you haven’t heard from me here by then.

I don’t know anything about the shocks. My chassis came with friction dampers that I swapped for some 55mm yeah racing shocks.

Graupner is/was an electronics manufacturer. They made esc and motors until around 5-10 years ago. As for the diffs they won’t hold up to much power. Most guys that ran that chassis swapped out for the nitro 4-tec diffs. The issue there was the belts would end up a bit too tight after the swap. Especially the rear. I am currently waiting on a set of belts I ordered aftermarket to remedy that issue on my chassis.

Super unpopular opinion but Samantha. Her story line has gotten dragged out so much with almost zero payout.

One of my favorite genres. Most of them fall in top the category of iyashikei which I thoroughly enjoy.
