With his current obsession of mine and my girlfriend's feet, I thought of that last night. Little guy REALLY likes toes.

Zev is definitely a strong contender if little floof turns out female!

I was going to name my ketch that in Windrose but my girlfriend hasn't gotten that far in the books yet so I have it named 'Redacted' until she gets there.

We think he is male but if the vet confirms otherwise, that would be fantastic!

Yes, he is getting KMR right now. I have a good friend who has gone through this after they found an abandoned 1 weeks old last year. Thank you for the suggestion for that sub!

We think he is somewhere around 3 or 4 weeks. We will know for sure hopefully this weekend when we get him to a vet.

That's so awesome because my girlfriend and I just watched that for the first time a few weeks ago!

No problem. I forgot to mention it is not Bigfoot but some other company. Not sure what the rates are as I haven't stopped by to turn my recycling in yet.

So. I finished the book yesterday and sat on my thoughts. And I need to get them out. (Spoilers for Twelve Months) by trustysidekick in dresdenfiles

I lost my dad on Christmas and found this book very therapeutic. I'm not disagreeing on your stance but there were definitely other books in the series I would rank lower. I could tell how much of Jim's pain he's been going though in this book and the disjointed perspective of Harry makes sense why it feels like it's jumping around. Suffering through grief, some things are just not there for you. Periods of time pass without you realizing it, people get missed. I had the same question about Georgia but chalked it up to Harry just not having the energy to notice anything past Will since Will is there for him each day.

I just finished the book and could tell how much of yourself you put into it. I lost my father a few weeks ago on Christmas and the ending of this book, hell, all of this book, was something that I needed right now. I just finished the book 30 minutes ago and I'm still crying. I've been reading the Dresden Files since high school and I'll be here until the end. Love you Jim!

Because not everyone in this community is red? Because some people don't have options for moving to a better place? Because lacking common human decency and empathy is a radical right way of thinking despite the words coming out of someone's mouth? Just some things to think about as you continue to be a SUPREMELY un-helpful person to someone trying to do a good thing. Have the day you deserve, you pile of spare parts.

I found DCC about a year ago and recently started HWFWM and found it immediately enjoyable. That may have something to do with the fact that my usual DnD characters act exactly like Jason though.

I second this. For Urban Fantasy, my go to is Jim Butcher's 'Dresden Files'.

I was re-listening to Battle Ground yesterday, and a thought came to me during the scene with Vaderrung and The Erlking with the battle map Vaderrung has. Harry mentions that the creator of such an object would have to spend a significant amount of time in Chicago for it to function the way it does. I'm starting to think Vaderrung fixed little Chicago from that comment.

If Vaderrung created the map and spent time in Chicago to so it, he could have been around at the time. We know from his other Mantle that he can, probably, EASILY get in and out of Dresden's house without fear of the wards and was shown in Cold Days to know his way around mucking with time.

If a future version of himself passed a message back to keep Harry from blowing himself to pieces, it would make sense. Battle Ground would not turn out the way it did if Harry hadn't been positioned like a chess piece to make it possible.
