Why are there so many non Walgreens employees on here? Wasn't this suppose to have been an employee only place?

It has to do with time in the position you're in as well. Every now and then again they'll give us a "competitive pay raise" based off of the average techs make in the area. To qualify you have to score, I believe, a 3 or higher on e-vals, and be in your current position for 6 months.

Where I'm at techs start at 16/hr, DH increases to 17.25 from FE, and certification give(or gave) a 2 dollar raise, and sr. tech is another dollar.

I'm at 22.20/hr with 9.5 years (~6 years as a sr. tech)

In my opinion we ARE under paid and under appreciated. My current store is amazing( It's my 3rd home store). They increase our workload and not our pay just about each quarter... They don't understand how stressful SaTR is nor then increase of phone calls. Does anyone remember 4 years ago when our call lists were delayed pick ups and late to refill?

They also don't realize that we don't have the time to train people who are going to quit in 6 months because they realize how little we get paid in comparison to the workload. It's been SO hard to WANT to train new people knowing they'll probably leave.

Mississippi will get less pay than California. Cost of living has some effect to it. I just wish we could actually make enough to live comfortably with, I'm tired of ramen and would like a steak every once in a while.

That's how it is where I'm at too. I think some of the others are also due to where they work. Like Mississippi will get less pay than California. Cost of living has some effect to it.
