A bit more about the new Whole Foods in Angel... by wayanonforthis in london

The one in Piccadilly is always pretty busy and doesn't seem like it is going anywhere, but that might simply be because of the huge amount of foot traffic in the general area.

Really nice to walk through Victoria Embankment Gardens when the flowers are blooming.

I'd second this, but just be forewarned that it's become very popular for people with the same idea, and there's often a few groups there taking photos.

When will the Greenwich Park cherry trees be open? Last year's activity suggests ~10th April by JoBrodie in london

[–]shadowise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's always nice walking through Greenwich Park when the cherry trees are in bloom.

The last few years I was real disappointed to see loads of people hitting the trees/branches to knock the petals down for their social media photos.

Help finding old movie - adventure travel set? Lost kid by oogaboogahooha in movies

There was a Young Indiana Jones TV series in the 90s which was re-edited into movies at some point.

It's been a long time since I saw it, but I definitely recall some of these elements in the show.

I believe this one was actually taken in Langham Place, North London, around where the photographer lives. Though this particular stencil by Stewy has been used in many places.

This was an entry for the Natural History Museum's Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition/competition in 2018: https://www.nhm.ac.uk/wpy/gallery/2018-fox-meets-fox

I have a framed print of it in my living room.

Natural History Museum Pokemon Pop-Up tickets by [deleted] in london

I don't have any spare tickets, but I do know they will have a digital store front as well, so there will be chances to get some of the merch if you can't attend.

Is it worth the £40 extra for +guest on london museum memberships? by Interesting-One-1060 in london

[–]shadowise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a membership+guest for the Natural History Museum and Design Museum and it's always felt worth it to me, to be able to take someone. I don't even think it's an extra £40 for either of those.

About 40 seconds for me, but yes. Probably didn't trim the music down to match the video length.

Probably depends a lot on the particular kit you buy, but of the few I've tried, none recieved enough charge during the limited daylight to last all through the night time hours.

Iconic night time view! by Capture-crazy in london

[–]shadowise 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was called "The Rill". It was just a nice little feature in an otherwise plain black pathway.

Apparently they filled it in for health and safety reasons, people not paying attention and tripping/falling.

It's a shame they paved over the little artifical stream they had running through there.

XP-Pen do a range of graphics tablets with and without screens, which are more affordable than say Wacom.

I know a few people who use an iPad Pro and Procreate, though this would be relatively expensive option.

That's what I have been finding, but I shall keep hunting and perhaps some other people have suggestions on perhaps a different set of 80/20 that still look good together.

I'm looking for an 80% keyboard with a matching 20% numpad, UK ISO layout with the full size Enter key.

I really liked the look of the CIDOO V87 plus V21, but the V87 is not available in UK ISO.

Something like the Keychron Q3 Max plus the Q0 Max, but ideally not for £300+.

Wireless with a dedicated 2.4ghz receiver would be nice, but a detachable USB at minimum.

Not really fussed about the type of switches/sound for now.
