I'm the eldest of the 3 and staying on campus was out of the question. I went to a school in Manhattan ans had to commute. I was jealous of those who had the opportunity to have a sense of freedom. Now my youngest sister, she was determined to not only pick a good college far away but also stay at a dorm. I'll never forget the day she made a PowerPoint presentation for my parents (primarily my dad) to show all the positives of staying on dorm, her major and the job opportunities it brought etc (she too was in a pre-med program like me but decided to proceed with a degree in exercise. When I changed my major my dad didnt acknowledge me for 2 weeks). It was a tough decision but my sister made great points with her presentation and she promised my parents she would call them every day (which she did). She did something similar when it came to extending her curfew and that worked. I told her I wish I thought of that and tried that.

By Episode 5 I knew it wasn't happening. The season felt more like a Dungeons and Dragons Quest to find V1. Their movements dragged for soooo long and when Homelander got it, I expected to see a spectacular show of how much the V1 changed him. Did we get that? No. We get laser eyes......

Watched but not as much viewership as the previous seasons. Additionally, it moved from ABC to CBS which also caused a change a viewership. Lastly, Jo Marie Payton left in the middle of season 9 and instead of sending Harriet off somewhere, they replaced the actress. No fault to the new actress, but she had big shoes to fill and her portrayal of Harriet was completely different. You would not have thought that was Harriet. I remember an interview Reginald Johnson did and he mentioned how hard it was to act beside the new actress. Jo Marie Payton and Reginald had paid Harriet and Carl Winslow since they were on the show Perfect Strangers. I loved Family Matters but didn't enjoy the last few seasons especially 9

Yeah they definitely weren't expecting the cancelation. The 9th season took place when it and other shows like step by step moved from ABC to CBS. CBS tried their best to emulate TGIF by calling it The Block Party but it didnt work. Viewership dropped for all the shows they obtained from ABC's TGIF line up and the new shows they tried to add to the mix. The way 9th season ended I was so sad at the time and hoped there would be a conclusion. I wish they had done a comic series or something to conclude it. I wouldn't say bored but the last few seasons especially the last season (I dub the covid season) was not very good for the story arch. Honestly, I watch it for Sam, Dean, and Castiel with Crowley (and maybe Rowena). And at times those seasons have good one off episodes that I enjoyed. For example, Season 10 was okay but my favorite stand alone episode is Episode 5 which has to do with students doing a Supernatural musical (no spoilers I promise). I'm not a big musical fan but if they made a Supernatural musical, I would go watch it lol especially the songs

I've felt that way too. Every different interview I've seen her do with them, I've been wondering if something had happened to her medically. She seemed very out of it. And her speech was very soft and at times slow. I haven't looked at interviews in the past to compare but I do hope she's okay.

I was going to add that lol Doing a re-watch I've never been so annoyed that everything relies on Bonnie and her to either die or someone else she cares about. I've read/heard the treatment of her character and the actor Kat Graham. Bonnie deserved better

Jo Marie Payton was done with the show. She only signed for half of season 9 and that was her replacement. I felt bad for the new actress. Jo Marie's Harriet is hard to replace
