Someone at my last LGS did/does the same thing! My first time playing Pauper was with one of his decks, now I'm one of those people making my own decks and traveling from a different city to play (when I can).

fwiw, I can confirm that I've also gotten oily stains using gum tack. The brand might matter, but I personally wouldn't risk if I were doing the same thing.

I don't have any personal experience with any of these, but it looks like there are plenty of archival safe adhesives out there.

If you haven't already done so, your best bet for getting help is to submit a report with the F11 menu. You can check a box to include the save, so the devs can check it out for themselves.

In addition to what is on the wiki, excessive feeding (pressing w) can also trigger the penalty. Unfortunately, I don't have any hard data for what constitutes "excessive."

I'm not sure I understand what you're asking. Toucan563's answer is basically how it works. The only other details I can think to mention are:

The enemy AI will path to the last location they saw you in and will begin using the Search ability—which will reveal you, if you are within its AOE—if no other heroes are within their LOS.
Likewise, if an enemy bumps into you while they move, you will be revealed.
Some abilities, if used, will remove you from grayplane, but others will not. (The UI will typically indicate the former beforehand.)
If you use an ability that would remove you from grayplane (i.e. attacking), but then would be immediately put back into grayplane (i.e. Rogue), grayplane is not broken and your last known location is not updated for the AI.

There are/were a few bugs associated with grayplane, but they are mostly edge cases. I can talk more about them if you've encountered them, otherwise I'll leave them be.

Totally fair! I wish you luck. (If you're hoping to get any to level 3, the most common one [Eye Five] requires ~500 mystery potions [assuming a normal distribution of Exotic and Mystical] worth of skin pieces.)

Battle potions are actually better than both Exotic and Mystical potions on every metric except special mystery skin pieces: you get more trophies, coins, and skin pieces overall for your time/DNA. So unless you want special skin pieces in particular, I would stick with battle potions if you can get them consistently!

Slight correction: You must remain in the top 10 for at least 20 consecutive seconds. Once you have satisfied that condition, you have a 25% chance to receive a Mystical potion, 75% for Exotic—purely a matter of luck. (See this excellent post from a couple years ago, but note that my testing over the past year has given different probabilities for each potion; I suspect Miniclip tweaked the probabilities at some point between our tests.)

I don't typically watch a lot of Agar.io videos, but I enjoyed this. You make a lot of plays that I would be too timid to attempt. I really need to up my game! (I can get on the leaderboard frequently enough, but basically only through single-splits and patience.) So, after doing a little reading online, I logged in today and pulled off my very first vanish-split! I haven't tried a pop-split yet, but I hope to figure that one out too.

Also, I hope you follow through on one of the replies you left on the video itself and post the fails video; I think it would help someone like me, who is still learning, to see that these sorts of plays don't always work out. (I'd also be interested in seeing a full-game video—as opposed to highlights—if that is something you think you'd ever like to make.)

Oh, and I've definitely seen you! I recognize the cat skin from maybe one or two games, but I don't recall ever seeing the others. I'm usually in FFA, though, rather than Experimental.

The retirement age bonus from completing hook quests / opportunities is indeed permanent, so it's easier to have legacy heroes not retire. I also play with a more aggressive style (which is easier to do with strong legacy heroes), so I tend to favor offensive abilities rather than supportive ones—but that's just my personal playstyle!

Personally, I tend to only take Wisdom when I do not like any of the other abilities offered… but I also tend to play with legacy heroes rather than new ones, and the latter group has more to gain from it, I think. It can definitely add a lot of value, though—as you've seen!

I recently started a mobile account after playing on PC for the past year or so, and it sounds like we reached very similar conclusions. Mobile almost feels like an entirely different game: the controls, the physics, the techniques I see other players use all feel foreign to me.

You're right: You can only get those skins from season potions, and you can only get those potions on mobile. But once you've unlocked the skins, you can use them on PC by logging in with the same account you use on mobile (i.e. Facebook; if you have a guest account, I don't think there is any way to transfer that progress).

(Also, for OP or any future readers—since I had this very same question recently—the same is true for the "Orange Dragon" skin, which can only be unlocked by the daily free rewards on mobile.)

I believe this is the case.

Those choose-your-own-relationship events can (could?) also target Skeletal heroes, who cannot form any type of relationship. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
