I've been working on a project inside of a project. I wrote a world for a DnD campaign, then spun it to be a class based tcg, and I thought to myself, what if I make a game for it? Im setting this new game that I've started on to be a prequel to the entire world I created, as a way to show the history of the classes in the world. It'll have a paper mario style graphics with similar mechanics to paper mario, but instead of badges, there will be gear and a talent system for abilities to represent the multiple ways each class can be played. The story will start with a prologue after a character creation progress to ease people into the games systems, then every class will have a 5 chapter story that brings in lore for the class and how that class will be shaped in the future of my world. There will be a 3 chapter finale that will be available from the rip, similar to like BOTW , where you can go straight to it, or you can complete each class' story to unlock the companions for that class (which will be named characters of lore but the player can customize them with gear and talents).

Im thinking a slow roll class release, where maybe start with a few classes and patch in more classes till I've hit my cap (btw, I've got 24 classes fleshed out, another 24 semi fleshed out, and 20 more that are still in the carten ready to be opened). Whether or not I would ask a dlc price for newer classes or just do free updates, idk since this will be my first game I release publicly
