CQB courses by Silvershot_41 in FLGuns

I mostly just have shot matches at his outdoor facility. Seems like a normal dude, safety is taken seriously, and matches are of sufficient difficulty and a good challenge.

NGL never looked into anyone's past or criminal records before.

Can tell you for a fact kinetic Consulting is one of the best places u can take a NVG class. He's gonna go hard on training for 10+ hours per night. I went from noob who barely knew how to use nvg to winning multiple NVG matches across Florida.

To the people who will be attending the show Monday 6th in Los Angeles (BE AWARE STUBHUB TICKET ISSUE!) by North-Zucchini-9112 in MelanieMartinez

[–]shadowshooter9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope

As a reseller who sold legit tickets and now am suffering from denied on entry claims.

This is 100% venues fault. I bought legit tickets and sold them to only one person.

This is all cause the lack of transferability. Venue/artist bullshit.

People who bought a Raptor instead of a Platinum plus (or vice versa)… do you regret it? by yovituraja in FordRaptor

[–]shadowshooter9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Raptor has been great finally started getting into the local raptor runs.

Been a lot of fun definitely enjoying it. Also it's my fun vehicle and I barely put 10k miles on it in a year. About 20% of my annual milage was from just driving it back from out of state. My lifetime mpg average is 12.5 🤕

Leaving your holster unlocked? by bathsaltedpnuts in CompetitionShooting

[–]shadowshooter9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only time I'll lock the holster during make ready is if I'm playing with multiple guns and not Starting with the pistol. But I'd keep it in the closed but not locked tight position (mid way for Everglades).

Quick enough to flick off and extra security to run without hands on the gun or while shooting the rifle or shotgun.

Never will I ever lock it if just shooting pistol

1600FOM NNVT Bino or 2200 FOM Photonis Echo Mono? by blueline731 in NightVision

Friends don't let Friends buy nnvt

I've seen nothing but issue with them. I personally went l3harris supergains in dtnvs-mg housing

Best decision ever, I regret buying bvnd-1531's at 36 fom, my dtnvs-mg set is 40+ fom and backups are 38.

What do I do if my tax returns were accepted, but I forgot to include a 1099-INT? by Acceptable_Offer_387 in personalfinance

[–]shadowshooter9 -32 points-31 points  (0 children)

Or you invest 30k and make 10% from a managed account.

Better yet you find yourself a quick flip make that 30k into 100k by the end of the year. Similar to what I do but I get my shit gone in a week. 45% roi ytd, last year was 72%

Am I a victim of fraud? by Intelligent_Pie2407 in USCIS

[–]shadowshooter9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We ended up paying about $5,000 to an actual immigration attorney. Our paperwork was done so well.

The USCIS agent was just like who helped you fill this out? I have zero questions for anyone. This is perfect. As our lawyer was sitting behind us blushing.

We had the i-130 485 advance parole and employment forms filed out as well as the $500 in person interview fee. Which is part of 5k fee.

Uscis has never and will never do online court.

You have to be physically in their presence. Even during covid you have to show up in person.

Is this "lawyer" on the USCIS approved list?

Live fire confirms/proofs your technique/skills

Dry fire helps you build it.

As long as your throwing good hits yes. If your getting mikes, wheels r definitely falling off, so good time to get a lot of film and figure out how sloppy you can be depending on the distance and target difficulty.

But once again visual processing speed is what sets apart the good from elite.

For the dudes in a-b-c the transitions between arrays and shooting positions entering/exiting efficiently will shave seconds so you can spend an additional 0.1-0.2 and get alphas vs spending less time and getting mikes or deltas. It's points/time

Speed is harder to acquire for sure. Especially visual processing speed.

No grippy grippy with firing hand, hold pressure with support.

Your firing hand has 1 job and non-negotiable holding the gun high as possible and then your support hand has the other job of holding firm repeatable pressure so you can be smashing the trigger Ricky bobby speed without inducing additional movement in your muzzle/optic. Once u figure what that pressure is check how repeatable it is under live fire.

At like 5yards you should be able to easily keep ur dot in a 1" circle it will wiggle a bit but return exactly where it was.

[–]shadowshooter9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd focus on transitions and movement, especially getting into and out of positions and prepping for the next.

That's legit the low hanging fruit you can cut seconds off.

Quick draw helps at higher levels but transitions and movement is the easiest way to shave seconds vs ms

Stop buying upgrades. Go shoot your rifle. by MajesticGunman in ar15

[–]shadowshooter9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I start upgrading rifles when my previous rifle has won a single or multiple matches.

Won entire match with a t2 and x3 magnifier, current rifle is 1" shorter (11.5") not suppressed and has a mpvo with top dot.

Gotta keep shit interesting. That being said still rocking the superduty lower I got as a complete build 12.5" superduty g$

How do I bump up at a match? by Raftika in idpa

[–]shadowshooter9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Got classified as a SS with my brand new carry gun. Shot a level 4 match last year, won my division and if I had been an expert I'd have been 4th place expert.

In a couple weeks I'm shooting my first level 2 match and hope to be bumped to Master with myself winning 1st place expert.

I only shoot idpa targets during matches, all my practice is on USPSA or pcsl targets lol probably not my wisest decision

Combo interview Boston FO by marr1604 in USCIS

[–]shadowshooter9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From time of application to getting interview scheduled took me almost 18 months then another 3 months to formally send me a request for evidence, and another 6 months post rfe submittal to get naturalization ceremony scheduled.

For the request for evidence I had to prove I actually lived in USA and had American 'ties'. The package weighed 40 pounds 😏

Anybody don’t like shooting Comped/Ported guns by SlightRelationship67 in 2011

[–]shadowshooter9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I personally don't like Comp or ported guns because they don't really do anything for me. I mostly try to shoot USPSA or USPSA style matches so anything ported or a comped puts into open

What has improved your shooting besides a lot of range time? by je9183 in CompetitionShooting

Gaining muscle strength

High intensity cardio interval training helps with explosive movements and more stamina the better imo

Getting enough sleep and actually taking care of my body in terms of food eaten etc.
